All Rooms Have: new private bathrooms, firm Sealy posturepedic mattresses with down or down alternative mattress tops, top of the line towels, wireless internet access, air conditioning, and fresh flowers. Off-season rate dates: May 20 - June 19, and October 13-26 In Season rate dates: June 20- October 12. Room #1 (Tranquility). Absorb feelings of serenity as you gaze upon the sails of the boats passing by your window; the charm of a little island in the harbor and seagulls soaring playfully. This room features antique mahogany furniture, a beautiful queen-sized poster bed, designer chair, oak floor and sheer drapes. Soothe the self with a luxurious bath in a specially designed deep tub in an attractive setting with pedestal sink, cream and rose tile floor, drapes and custom lighting. Off-season: $145 / In season: $159. Experience the fresh sea air, natural sounds and beautiful water views from your own terrace. A french door (private entrance) leads you to this outside seating area which has old fashioned Maine rockers, white wooden table, and flower boxes. Simple and elegant; this room is very light and airy with several windows, French sheer drapes, new oak floor, antique queen mahogany poster bed, queen-anne chair and other furnishings. Nicely appointed full bath with gold leaf mirror, brass lighting and chintz curtains. Off-season: $145 / In season: $159. An attractive room offering a lovely king-size high poster antique mahogany bed. This bed can easily be transformed to twin beds for friends or family upon request. The room features mahogany furniture, floor length sheer drapes, a new light oak floor, and custom brass lighting. Your view is of trees, birds, and gardens below. Nicely appointed full bath. Off-season: $140 / In season: $155. Room #4 (Lightness) Cozy third level room with peak of harbor and private flowered entrance. This is a new room that is small but holds much charm with its interesting architectural design and its ample amount of light and fresh air. This room offers oak floors, sheer drapes, queen-sized bed, mahogany furnishings, and an attractive bath. Off-season: $115 / In season: $125. The Cottage (Solitude). Follow the stone steps to your own beautiful and private retreat amidst the natural surroundings of evergreens, flowering bushes, and a fresh water duck pond. In its origin, a setting to build and repair lobster traps; it has been lovingly renovated to a large sleeping room with white walls, cathedral ceiling, several windows, pine floors and private bath. This room offers lots of light, fresh air, a nice water view, lovely antique oak furnishings including a queen-size bed and presidential rocking chairs. The cottage also includes a Vermont stove for ambiance and a red oriental rug. Outside is a newly constructed porch which creates a picturesque sitting area with its garden, flower boxes, and Maine rocking chairs. Off-season: $165 / In season: $179. Elegance and beauty best describe our newest room. Treat yourselves to this special room on the third level, offering cathedral ceilings, cupulos, and a panoramic view of the harbor. A room filled with light and fresh sea air with it's sixteen windows and two sets of french glass doors. One opens to a lovely whirlpool for two set in three windows, where you can leisurely gaze upon the stars and absorb the beauty and fullness of nature. The other, to your own private terrace where you can relax looking at the water and boats passing by. This room is furnished with attractive mahogany antiques, including a queen size poster bed, upholstered chairs, oak floors, and floor-length drapes. Recommended for honeymoons and special getaways. Directions for Getting to the Inn. Maine Turnpike exit 52, to I-295, to route 1 North, to Route 27 South and Boothbay Harbor. Union Street to Atlantic Avenue, straight ahead past footbridge few hundred yards on the left. Detailed Directions From Boston. Get to the Tobin Bridge. Take exit #27 off the Tobin Bridge. This exit will lead you to Rt. 1 North. From Rt. 1 youll get onto Rt. 95 No. Keep following signs to Maine. You will go through N.H. and once into Maine youll stay on Rt. 95. Rt. 95 will become the Maine Turnpike. Stay on the Maine Turnpike until exit #52 right after Portland, Maine. Take this exit. After you pay your toll you will go about 1/2 a mile and have to take a sharp right onto Rt. 295 North. (Be careful, its easy to miss.) Stay on Rt. 295 for about 20 min. and get off at exit #28 (Bath, Brunswick, Coastal Rt. 1) You are now on Rt. 1 North. You go through several small towns: Brunswick, Bath and Wiscasset. Rt. 1 North is the main street through Wiscasset. The town slopes downward and at the end of this downward slope is a fairly good size bridge. (still on Rt. 1) Go over bridge and take a right onto Rt. 27--about 1/4 mile beyond bridge. This is a ten mile ride that brings you down the peninsula to Boothbay Harbor. In Harbor Directly to Inn. After approximately 10 miles on Rt. 27 you will see a set of lights with a Hannaford grocery store on your right. Go straight through these lights and up a hill. A fork will be at the top of the hill with a bank sitting in the middle. Bear left at this fork and then take your immediate left onto Pear St. (Youll notice as you bear left it says one way street - you are allowed to bear left here as long as you then take your immediate left onto Pear St.) Go to end and bear left onto Union St. At end of Union St. is a T. You go right at this T onto Atlantic Ave. and continue following the harbor. The Atlantic Ark Inn, #64, is up on the left side about 1/2 mile. (207-633-5690)

Reservation Information. Rates range from $115-$210 plus tax per room. All rooms have private baths. One room offers a Greek tub, another a beautiful whirlpool for two. Some rooms offer picturesque harbor views and/or private balconies. A Guest cottage is available for those desiring a more private setting. Rates pertain to single and double occupancy. There is an additional $30 charge per extra person. Reservations are recommended. Watercolor by Judith Harper. To confirm a reservation for one night, full payment is requested in advance, and with longer stays please send 50% of lodging fee as a deposit. The balance is due upon arrival. Sorry, no refunds are given if you arrive after your confirmed arrival date or if you depart before your confirmed departure date. Please also note that sometimes when 3 or more rooms are reserved for several days, payment in full is requested prior to arrival. Deposits are refundable, less a $20 handling fee if cancellation is received 14 days or more prior to arrival date. For groups reserving 3 or more rooms, the cancellation time is 30 days or more before arrival. 2 pm to 7 pm or by special arrangement. Check-out by 11 am.
