Guest Rooms and Rates. Today, the charm of the old Victorian era lingers on at Waterman House and Gardens Bed and Breakfast. The inn's first floor provides guests with a charming parlor for reading the morning paper, a library with fireplace for afternoon lounging, and an expansive oak-paneled dining room to enjoy home-cooked breakfasts. The wrap-around porch and rocking chairs lead many guests outdoors each morning, to enjoy their coffee overlooking the herb, perennial, and cottage gardens surrounding the house. The Rooms Our rooms range in price from $85 to $145 per night, with and without private baths. Each room has a queen-size bed and is furnished with an eclectic array of Waterman family antiques. Rooms during summer festival weekends (such as The Blues Festival, the Lobster Festival, the Maine Boats Harbors Festival) range from $90 to $150. The Breakfast You'll never leave the table hungry at Waterman House Gardens! Judy is known for her traditional New England popovers, served piping hot with genuine maple syrup. Melissa likes to bake, turning out delectable coffee cakes, sky-high buttermilk biscuits, and French fruit tarts for eager guests. Rockland Camden Maine Location Directions. How to Find Us From Rte. 1 heading north Turn left onto Broadway at the Stella Maris House. At the light, turn right onto Limerock. Take your FIRST left, onto Lincoln. Then turn right at the third street, which will be Grove. Waterman House is the large yellow house with a white porch just ahead on your left. From Rte. 17 Turn right at blinking yellow light across from the Rockland Golf Course. Go through the next light toward the harbor. At stop sign next to Wasses Hot Dogs and the Brown Bag restaurant, proceed onto Route 1 south (Union Street). Grove Street is the fifth street on the right, just after Summer Street. Waterman House Gardens is the large yellow house on the right at the top of the street. From the Ferry Terminal Walk directly across the street from the terminal onto Talbot Street. Walk up until you reach Union. Turn left. Walk two blocks until you see the sign for Grove Street on your right. Walk up Grove Street until you see Waterman House, a large yellow house with a white porch, on your right. It is 7 minutes from the Terminal. From Rte. 1 heading south As you come into Rockland near the Brown Bag restaurant, merge onto Union Street (Route 1 south). Grove Street is the fifth street on the right; Waterman House Gardens is the large yellow house on the right at the top of the street. From the Owls Head Airport A taxi ride from the airport to Waterman House is less than 10 minutes.

Waterman House is a non-smoking home. We also ask you to refrain from bringing pets (we own two cats which are confined to our quarters). A 1-night deposit per room is required within 7 days of booking. We do not accept any credit cards. Preferred check-in: 3 to 6 p.m. If your arrival times don't coincide with our check-in time, please let us know so that we can make other arrangements. Refunds for cancellations can be made up to 72 hours prior to arrival except for summer festival weekends when a seven-day notification is requested.
