We went to TCI last june and we were so delightfully happy to discover such an oasis of peace and beauty. Four minutes by walk away from Gracebay beach, we lived at the Tradewinds Condotels. This place was just perfect for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Tradewinds is a very clean and nice small place, located centrally in Grace Bay. It was easy for us to get our grocery nearby (there is a BBQ at the Tradewinds!) but also to enjoy some very good restaurants in the area. The staff of the Tradewinds was very cordial and professionnal, and the condos are very well kept. We would recommend a vacation at the Tradewinds Condotels anytime! Martine Giovanni St-Hyacinthe, Qubec, Canada. Steve, Kim, Justin and Kayla Fagen. Bill, Helen and Susannah Mills. On our third trip to Provo and we are staying once again at the Trade Winds. The property/facility was very clean. The accommodations were great. Kevin Nadesia Hilton. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very peaceful. Would recommend Trade Winds and would like to come back. The Trade Winds is an excellent spot for A-type personalities to truly relax and unwind. Ken Claudia Davis Hartsdale, NY. We loved it here! You guys were extremely committed to assuring that all was satisfactory throughout our stay. The location is central in terms of being close to restaurants, the casino, and Grace Bay beach. Although the property is not beach front, the access is easy with a 8 minute walk or 2 minute drive (depending on how much you need to carry to the beach.) The pool area was quite nice, private, and the garden...

The Government of the TCI has recently announced the construction of four more golf courses in the Turks Caicos Islands. In addition to the world class Provo Golf Course, considered one of the best, if not the best in the Caribbean, a 36 hole links is planned for the Northwest Point area of Providenciales. Two more golf courses are to be constructed over in North Caicos where a world class Fairmont Hotel is to be built. Now guests can travel to Middle Caicos without taking a plane thanks to the new causeway linking North Caicos and Middle Caicos. Visitors can now take the water taxi to North Caicos, rent a car on arrival and then drive to Middle Caicos and explore its pristine beauty. With less than 400 inhabitants, Middle Caicos is the largest island in the Turks Caicos archipelago. At long last Providenciales has a casino again on the island. Ever since The Allegro resort was demolished in 2006, along with the countrys only casino, tourists on the island have had no place to go to take their chances with Lady Luck! Now, once again, we have not only one but two casinos located conveniently at Turtle Cove and the newly opened Casablanca casino on Grace Bay. Destination to the Stars. Did you know that the Turks Caicos Islands is one of the most popular destinations for Hollywood Stars? Will Smith and his beautiful wife, Jada Pinkett, visited the islands in early September and stayed just a few minutes from the Trade Winds Condotel in one of the islands most luxurious resorts. Actor Bruce Willis and actress Demi Moore have been visiting the islands for years and own a house on Parrot Cay. We now have a brand new cinema called the L.Raye cinema, named after our first lady, Lisa Raye McCoy Missisck, the wife of the nations premier, The Hon. Dr. Michael Missick. The runway extension will allow the larger jets to fly here from Europe directly without a stopover in either Miami or Nassau, Bahamas. This will open up the Turks Caicos Islands to the lucrative European market which has been largely ignored because of the difficulty of getting to the islands without the inconvenience of flying to the United States first or stopping over in Nassau for refueling on the weekly British Airways flight. The government is currently upgrading all of our major roads on the island of Providenciales as well as other islands of the Turks Caicos Islands. Mindful to obey the national speed limits (40mph on Leeward Highway and 20mph along Grace Bay Road) now our guests can travel safely and comfortably to their resort without driving along roads littered with dangerous potholes. Leeward Highway is an ultra modern highway built to the standard of UK road construction by the leading construction engineering firm in the Caribbean, Johnston International.
