Room has a view to the rear

Room looks east onto the circular drive and woods beyond. The
room is furnished with Rococo Revival antiques and has a queen size bed with lace canopy romantically draped over the top. A wall system displays several pieces of museum quality American Brilliance cut glass and antique cloisonn?. Slip Casablanca into the VCR, lie back on your cloud of
pillows and
sink back Into the 19th century! The Continental
Suite showcases antique furnishings from the European continent within its
two rooms. The sitting
room is large and roomy and has a
kitchenette in one corner. The
room also has a
TV/VCR and a private sound system with a supply of classical and new age music. The
bedroom has a queen size bed which is turned down at night with
breakfast menu and chocolate awaiting your return from
dinner.A second
TV is located at bedside. This is your chance to indulge and select anything you wish for
breakfast. And you can sleep-in, as
breakfast is served from 6:00AM to 10:00AM. The
bathroom offers the soothing relaxation of a small Swedish
sauna.

There are a total of
two rooms and
one suite at Merrywood. All have private
baths,
telephone, premium
cable TV, VCR,
CD player and
mini bar. The
suite has a private sound system and small
sauna in the
bathroom. The house is centrally
air conditioned. Rates include a full
breakfast of your choice from a menu, afternoon
tea and refreshments. Entrance to Merrywood.

Room (King bed, or two twins)- $165.00. Victorian
Room (Queen bed)- $165.00. Continental
Suite (Queen bed)- $195.00. Reservation Policy: A deposit of one half of your stay is required to secure a reservation. Deposit may be made with a credit card or check. We accept all major credit cards. Cancellation Policy: Due to our small size, we are often turning guest away. For this reason we must adhere to the following policy: Refund of deposit if cancellation notice is received by us 14 days prior book date or if we can rebook the
room. A $15 service charge will apply. Guests are responsible for each night booked even if cancelled prior to or after arrival. Children/Pets/Smoking: Merrywood is a smoke free house. Unfortunately, we have no provisions for children under 12 years old or pets.

Airport. Take Rt. 20 West to Granby just after leaving the
airport. Follow Rt. 20 to Rt. 10/202 South (5.4 miles). Take Rt. 10/202 South for approx. 8 miles to Rt.185 East. Take Rt.185 East for 1 mile to Merrywood on your left. See stone pillared entry with sign (approx. 25 minute drive). From I-91 Traveling north or south Take exit 35B to Rt. 218 West. Follow Rt. 218 West to Rt. 185 West (4.8miles). Turn right and follow Rt. 185 West for approx. 3.7 miles to Merrywood on your right. See stone pillared entry with sign. From I-84 Traveling east Take exit 39 (Rt. 4, Farmington) to junction of Rt. 4 West and Rt. 10 (1 mile). Take right onto Rt. 10 North to Rt. 44 (5.5 miles). Continue straight across Rt. 44 onto Nod Road to Rt. 185. Take right onto Rt. 185 East for 0.6 miles to Merrywood on your left. See stone pillared entry with sign. From I-84 Traveling West. Traveling west Take exit 61 onto Rt. 291 West for 5.8 miles to exit 1 Bloomfield. At the end of the exit ramp, take left onto Rt. 218 West. Travel for 4.4 miles to Rt. 185.
