Click here to see a virtual tour of the inn. Beauport on Clay Hill, a spectacular newly-constructed stone English manor, is situated just one mile from the center of Ogunquit on Clay Hill Road. Located on an 11-acre country setting, the Inn is nestled in between the Josiah River, Ogunquits tennis courts, and rolling, forested hills. A two-minute drive from Ogunquits beaches, shops and fine restaurants the Inn is located outside the range of traffic and noise. The Beauport offers luxury, comfort, warmth and hospitality and a full country breakfast. The inn was designed by a local artist and built by skilled Maine craftsmen. All the rooms are centered around a 40 foot length granite lap pool with Jacuzzi, and a tiled steam room which can be used during all seasons. Central air-conditioning is available during the summer months. All guest rooms are furnished with a working cast iron, gas stove, tiled bath, cable TV, VCR, and refrigerators, with all rooms equipped with high speed internet access. The Ultimate in Luxury has been individually designed and decorated, incorporating antiques and collectibles from Europe, the Middle East and South America. The owners, who previously were innkeepers of the original Beauport Inn in Ogunquit, will welcome you at the enormous stained-glass front doors which once graced on old London hotel. Once inside the Great Room, guests can relax in a large comfortable sitting area, play the piano and enjoy the warmth from a large stone wood-burning fireplace. The sitting area is framed with English oak floor-to-ceiling wainscoting, acquired from an old English school house dating back to 1835. The Great Room also features a sunny dining area overlooking the pool and river. The English kitchen, is the heart of activity where are prepared for the guests enjoyment. Breakfast and drinks can be enjoyed on a large veranda or in the screened-in gazebo. The floors throughout the Inn are 14-inch wide white pine, inlaid with Colonial square nails. The owners have enjoyed collecting oriental carpets, antique copper from Turkey, and vintage Fiesta dinnerware, which are displayed throughout the house. Lawrence of Arabia would feel at home in the hammam, a Turkish steam room which is offered to all our guests. This two-room suite, which is located on the second floor, offers luxury and formality. The elegant library, which features a sitting area with an antique library table and sofa, is graced by an enormous crystal chandelier which once greeted guests at the historic Eagle Hotel in Concord, New Hampshire. The bedroom offers a queen bed, TV, VCR, and a large private bath. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the forested countryside, pool and river.

THE RIVERVIEW APARTMENT. A spacious, sun-filled apartment fully equipped with living-dining room, tiled kitchen, bath with washer/dryer, and a bedroom with a queen-size cherry sleigh bed. The living room features a sleep sofa, which can accommodate an additional two persons, cable TV, VCR, a fireplace with a cast iron gas stove insert, wood-inlaid cathedral ceiling, two porches and white pine floors. The furniture is done in colors of earth tones. This is a delightful private place with separate entrances. Perfect for a couple who want to stay a week or longer. Beauports Gourmet Breakfast. Breakfast at Beauport Inn is a luxurious experience! George, the chef, serves two types of breakfast between 8 and 9:15 A.M. Full country breakfast sample menus Fresh fruit, orange juice Vegetable omelets with cheese, bacon or sausage, potato side dish, toast, English muffin or rolls Fluffy scrambled eggs with German potato cakes, bacon or sausage, biscuits or English muffin Eggs benedict with American fries, ham and English muffin Eggs Florentine with German potato cakes, and bacon Belgium waffles with scrambled eggs and sausage Maine blueberry pancakes, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Hot Coffee or Tea is available at 7 a.m. You have a choice of decaf coffee or tea or Georges Fresh Grown Lemon Verbena Tea. Cathys home made granola on fresh fresh fruit cup. Lemon low fat yogurt served in a banana boat topped with fresh mint and Maine blueberries. You have a choice of fresh OJ, grapefruit juice or cranberry juice. The Healthy Choice (above), is available all mornings. If you dislike herbs, let us know the night before because George is worse than Martha on herbs. We ask all guests to select their menu the evening before so it can be adequately prepared to the guests desires.

They love collecting original Fiesta tableware, and traveling to foreign places. They enjoy cooking, gardening, and ballroom dancing. George is also a real estate agent. George is now working as a real estate agent for ERA Masiello and will be glad to assist any guests who might want to buy either a 2nd home, or retirement home, or a business in beautiful Ogunquit. A 7% Maine lodging tax is not included in rates. Check-in is at 2:00 PM. After 7:00 PM, please call. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Deposits may be refunded if notified 14 days prior to arrival, less a $20.00 cancel fee. No refunds for early departures. Gift Certificates are available. We are smoke free. No pets please. DIRECTIONS TO THE BEAUPORT INN ON CLAY HILL From the South- Take I-95 to Exit 7 in Maine (sign reads the Yorks and Ogunquit). Turn left at the stoplight onto Route 1 North. Drive 7 miles to Ogunquit. Just as you enter Ogunquit, there will be a yellow blinking light where you turn left onto Agamenticus/Clay Hill Road. Drive about 5/8 of a mile and you will see tennis courts and ball field on your left. Just after this turn left. You will see the Beauport Sign at 339 Clay Hill. From the North- Take I-95 South to Exit 19. Sign reads Wells. Turn left at exit and follow sign to Route 1. Turn right on Route 1 to Ogunquit and pass through the small downtown section. At a yellow blinking light turn right onto Agamenticus/Clay Hill Road and drive approximately 5/8 of a mile until you see tennis courts and baseball field on your left. Just after the field you will see the Beauport Sign at 339 Clay Hill. Summer traffic short cut to Beauport Inn on Clay Hill. Many busy week-ends in the summer the traffic can back up for miles on Rt 1 close to Ogunquit. Rather than driving directly into Ogunquit, please follow these directions from coming from the South to Ogunquit. Often you will save a 45 minute drive. Take the same Exit 7, The Yorks - Ogunquit exit off 95 in Maine. Turn North (left) on Rt. 1. Drive approximately 3 miles north on Rt. 1. Look for Flos Steamed Hot Dogs sign on the right. Just after Flos, you will see a road on your left called Logging Rd. Take a left there. There is a wood barn and sign shop there. Our sign is also posted saying Beauport Inn. Take a left on Logging Rd until you get to a stop sign (just over one mile) that says Clay Hill Rd. Another sign will point to the right, saying Beauport Inn. Take a right there on Clay Hill and about 1/2 on the right is our BB Sign. Take a right into drive way.
