suite. The new Eagle is a glorious
two bedroom apartment with full
kitchen, dining/
living room, full size
bath, wood burning stove and private deck. Our
guest rooms are named after the schooners, also known as windjammers, that sail into Stonington Harbor. Binoculars have been placed in each of our seaside
rooms for our guests to enjoy the bustling harbor and to identify the windjammer fleet. All
rooms have
TV and
WiFi service. (Shipps House has
TV radio, no
telephone or
WiFi service.). We offer high season and off season rates which are listed with each
guest room description. An extensive,
healthy, home cooked continental
breakfast buffet is inclusive in our
room rates during high season.
Coffee, juice and muffins are provided during off season. All

two-bedroom suite is in the proprietor's private residence which faces Stonington Harbor and is located 5 minutes from the Inn. Both
bedrooms and the sitting
room all face the ocean. Master
bedroom has a queen size bed, second
bedroom has two twin beds. The large full
bath is shared by both
bedrooms. This
suite has its own private entrance and sitting area in the front
garden to enjoy the view. Guests staying at the Shipps House have access all day to the Inn's deck and facilities. (

two bedroom apartment with an all glass front facing Stonington Harbor. The master

2008 WEEKEND PACKAGES SPECIAL OFFERINGS. Mid-May through Mid-October Moose Safaris!! Best of Both Worlds *($540. 605. for two)(Am. Eagle $725. for two) Spend 2 nights at the Inn on the Harbor and 2 nights at the farm house on overlooking Mount Katahdin and Baxter State Park. On one of your days at the Farm enjoy a 5 hour moose safari with Dale Stevens, who guarantees you will see moose (from mid-May through August). Although there are thousands of moose in Maine, knowing where to find them in the Great North Woods at any given time is Dales specialty. Its a photo- graphers delight! Package includes 4 nights moose safari. Guests can stay at either location first. Moose Mountain Glory Farm *($365. 385. for two) Spend 3 nights at our lovely 1890 farm house on and enjoy a 5 hour moose safari. Although we do have moose on the farm, we have yet to train them to let us know when they plan to walk about. So taking a safari with Dale is a sure fire way to see these wonderful creatures in their wild native habitat. You will also see other beautiful flora fauna of the Great North Woods. Package includes 3 nights moose safari. How many moose might you see? Dales moose siting calendar looks something like this: Mid-May June average 12 to 30 moose. July averages 10 to 12.
