SELF- CATERING COTTAGES. LA LYS - L'AA - LA COLME. We have completely renovated and restored the caretaker's lodge at the chateau and have made it into 3 adjoining self-catering cottages. These are now available for rent and also include the use of the garden lounge. The cottages and the chateau are set in two and a half acres of beautiful parkland. There are various renting periods available-one week or longer, several days, or even a week end. Aa and Colme are rent each for 4 people and Lys for 3 people. GITE DE L'AA (67 m2). The kitchen-includes a double sink, cupboards, electric cooker (with four hotplates and an oven), cooker hood, refrigerator and microwave. The living room-includes table and four chairs, sofas and television. The shower room (fully tiled)-includes fitted washstand, shower cubicle with one square metre base and washing machine. On the first floor : Two bedrooms (17m2 and 20 m2)-including a large double bed,wardrobe, armchair, table and chair and coffee table. GITE DE LA COLME (62m2). Approximately the same description. On the ground floor (30 m2) : On the first floor : the 2 bedrooms (15m2 and 13 m2). GITE DE LA LYS (55m2). The kitchen-includes a double sink, cupboards, gaz cooker (with tow hotplates ) electric oven, refrigerator and microwave. The living room-includes table, chairs, sofas and television. What is a Chambre dhotes ? People arranged their own house (country farm, castle Manoir...) in order to received you in a warmly atmosphere and help you to discover the surrounding places. Each one is looking like the owner with rustic or up to date furniture, and could be old one or actual one with personalized decoration. Rooms are proposed to the guests in the owner properties or sometimes in additional buildings. The Chambre dhotes does not exceed 6 rooms or 15 people. In that case, you understand that booking in advance is often necessary. Conditions of booking are different from one to the other place and most of the time you are asked to pay by advance a part of the stay and confirm with a letter. Do not forget that you are leaving in private places and do not expect services like if you are staying in an hotel. In case of cancellation or delay, you are requested to inform the owner. You can inform him also of the arrival time, so he could received you when arriving. The meals proposed are most of the time made after reservation, this is not a restaurant, the meal is prepared for everyone on a same table, the owners are joining you for the dinner or just for the aperitif or the dessert. Menu is imposed and prepared by the owner or her husband who will propose to you a familly meal or regional one or Gastronomic one. Prices are different from a place to another one. You will understand that for familly reason or just to have some rest, the owner will not propose you the diner time to time. Some restaurants in the neighbouhood will be indicated. Breakfast are always included in the price of the night and are served individually or in common Time to time and according to the inspiration of the mistress you will taste jams, yoghourts, pastry home made, fruits of the garden...but also eggs and French charcuterie. Single rooms or luxury suites presented a various decoration and different styles.
