In order to satisfy a wide range of requirements, there are 45 rooms with different sizes, positions and furnishings. Over the years we have tried to take an environmentally friendly approach in the running of our business and have installed solar panels and a water purifier in the hope that other businesses in the area will do the same. The same goes for the everyday purchase of ingredients, where we aim to avoid single portion packaging and seek out suppliers that share our views on environmental issues.

The Hotel Beau Sejour is situated in the most beautiful and tranquil part of Alassio - right on the seafront and directly in front of its own private beach. It is surrounded by lush gardens with tall pines and palm trees. The current building dates back to the 1930;s and is modelled on the original villa that belonged to the Fedi family. Despite having been restored many times, the villa still preserves the atmosphere of the Fedi family;s holiday residence. Guests can enjoy a friendly welcome and professional service. The seafront open-air dining room is used for almost the entire season. It is protected from above and from the sides with opening windows. The beautifully furnished inside dining room is generally only used at the beginning of the season when the outside temperature may still be quite low. In keeping with our environmentally friendly policy, the cuisine is based on local dishes, offering simple, fresh and genuine food. There is also a large wine list. The headwaiter and his staff provide guests with a high level of service and are always available to cater to you every need.

The private beach opposite the hotel is only available to hotel guests. It therefore offers a peaceful atmosphere and ample space. The beach structures are built onto moveable wooden foundations that are removed at the end of each season. This avoids the use of concrete on the beach. Access to the beach is free up until the end of April, after which it is included in the full-board price. There is a supplementary cost for beach access for those who choose bed and breakfast only.

How to get to the Beau Sejour. By car: Those arriving from Genoa on the A10 should take the exit at Albenga and follow the signs for Alassio (about 8 km from the exit). Those arriving from Ventimiglia should exit at Andora and head for Alassio (around 10 km). By Train: Alassio train station is about 1,000 metres from the hotel. Discover the Hinterland. The fascinating hinterland of Liguria is extremely close to the seafront and very easily accessible. It is full of environmental and cultural places of interest and is the ideal destination for those who want to combine their seaside holiday with some hill walking. There are a wide variety of local products including Pigato Doc wine, extra virgin olive oil, Ortovero peaches and mountain honey. Places of interest: Val Neva and Val Pennavaire: Cisano sul Neva, Zuccarello and Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena. Valle Arroscia: Ortovero and Arnasco. The hills around Alassio: Moglio, Solva and Vegliasco.
