Prestonfields gothic tea house sits among banks of voluptuous old-fashioned roses and neat-clipped topiaries in Prestonfields formal rose garden, where this perfect hideaway is ideal for afternoon tea, for drinks or simply a place to escape with a book. If you must work, then youll find that with wi-fi your laptop will work perfectly too and the Tea House creates a great space for informal meetings or break-outs from conference or work sessions. Prestonfields Tea House can also be booked exclusively as a unique venue for lunches and dinners of up to 10 guests or as the perfect backdrop to weddings on the lawn.

Balloons Prestonfields 20 acres of grounds are adjacent to some of the most spectacular scenery including the Royal Holyrood Park, the historic Old New Towns of Edinburgh and the idyllic nature reserve and loch at Duddingston. Helicopters With the only helipad in central Edinburgh our guests can enjoy the speed and style that only a helicopter can offer for true door-to-door travel. Gardens. Prestonfields parkland was laid out in the 18th century and is listed in the Inventory of Gardens Designed landscapes of Scotland. An ongoing programme of planting and restoration is underway that includes the recent creation of a new long border filled with old roses and topiary to create a sensual setting for Prestonfields new Tea Pavilion and fragrant lavender beds. During 2006 a series of sections of a woodland walk are being opened up to give a circular walk through the wooded shelter belt that surrounds Prestonfield which we have planted with 1000s of native trees over recent years. Tea Pavilion. Not just a spot to take afternoon tea or read a book in the sun Prestonfields Tea Pavilion can be booked in summer for daytime meetings or small informal dinners of up to 8 guests.
