banks of the picturesque river Wye and surrounded by some of Britain's finest countryside. When in 1867, the house was owned by literary agent John Foster Charles Dickens stayed at the Castle Lodge for two weeks discussing the detailed plans for his celebrated
trip to America whilst few literary giants are visitors today, we hope that your stay with us will give you something to write home about. The lush meadows of Herefordshire provide the finest beef in all of England and our
cuisine features all that the locality has to offer and more. Freshly caught Wye salmon, succulent lamb from the hillsides of Wales traditionally prepared and stylishly served in one of our two
restaurants.Enjoy a candle lit supper with a fine bottle of wine after memorable day wandering the

Wedding Celebrations, Birthday and Anniversary functions. We are in easy access of the dual carriage-way linking the M50 to the M4, making us very accessible to Hereford, the Midlands and South Wales. The hotel itself is situated close to the

garden and
patio area, with ample
parking for larger

Room is our larger function
room, and can accommodate up to 80 guests seated. This
room is a very airy, light
room and is often referred to as the conservatory, as the decor and furnishings are very fresh and summery. The Blue
Room also boasts a parquet dance floor area, making it the ideal solution for a
celebration party with entertainment. We can accommodate up to 55 people seated with the entertainment, although an extra 25 people can be seated in our Peach
Room. The Peach
Room has adjoining double doors giving direct access to the Blue
Room.
