HIKING: Clear your mind and freshen your perspective (away from the daily grind) with the best of hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park - short hikes, long hikes, waterfall hikes, in the most pristine and scenic areas. We will provide all the information you need, including guided hikes, and you don't have to drive far since the Inn is only 10 minutes away from the entrance to the Park. BIKING: Bring your street
bikes or rent them in Townsend and Cades Cove.
Bike on the town's new 4.5 mile trail along the Little River, the isolated six mile old logging road in Tremont, or in historic Cades Cove where the scenic 11 mile loop road is closed to cars until 10 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays (May-September). FLY FISHING: With over 700 miles of Wild trout streams inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Little River in our own backyard, the Townsend area abounds with great fly fishing opportunities. Nearby Little River Outfitters offers a Fly Fishing school for the beginner (equipment provided) and a half and full day guided fly fishing
trip. Full day (or one angler: $195, for two $235).
