Your Association encourages you to send payment by check in the enclosed envelope to ensure proper application and to avoid credit card fees. If I dont occupy my unit this year, do I have to pay the Maintenance Fees? Yes. Every owner must pay their maintenance fees regardless of whether or not they use their week. Why do I pay Maintenance Fees in January when I dont use my week until later in the year? The budget for your resort is based on all weeks paying the Maintenance Fees by the due date for the daily operation of the resort. What are maintenance fees and who determines them? Maintenance fees are those funds collected by your Home Owners Association (HOA) to cover the cost of operating the resort and future maintenance and refurbishment. Maintenance Fees are collected at the end of the current year for the upcoming year and are determined by your HOA Board of Directors.
