My family and I just got home from a wonderful two week
trip in Bermuda where we stayed at the Greenbank Guest House. It was much better than having stayed at a hotel. We had a beautiful water view from our
room and could stroll out to the
patio and have
breakfast outside every morning. We could walk to the ferry that would take us to downtown Hamilton. It was a wonderful central location and the owner was extremely nice and helpful this is a wonderful place to stay. Our
trip was twice as nice just because of the accommodations!! We would definitely stay there again. Guest from Toms River, NJ, USA
On a
quiet lane less than a minute's walk from the Salt Kettle ferry landing, these single-story cottages nestle among tall trees next to Hamilton Harbour. They're small and family-oriented rather than grand, but they come with the attention and excellent service of the Ashton family. The
lounge in the 200-year-old main house has hardwood floors, a
TV, and a grand piano The waterside cottages, especially Salt Winds, have lovely harbor views There is a private dock for deepwater swimming, and the beaches are less than 10 minutes away by
taxi or scooter.
Award-winning Greenbank Guesthouse Cottages, run by the Ashton Family for more than 50 years, is a historic property beautifully situated at waters edge on the Salt Kettle Peninsula just minutes from the City of Hamilton in picturesque Bermuda. Our mature sub-tropical
gardens and spacious lawns, ideal for basking in the sun, overlook the water and scenic islands dotted through the Great Sound. The main house of Greenbank is approximately two hundred years old. Most of the old cedar beams were used as ballast in the old sailing ships that used to ply their trade between Bermuda and the North American and European continents. There is a story that one of the cottages on the premises was the overseer's
office during the time that salt panning was a prominent
business in Bermuda. Salt Kettle Point was named accordingly. Copyright 2005 - 2006 Greenbank Guesthouse Cottages. Site by

This guesthouse stands at the water's edge in Salt Kettle, just across the bay -- a 10-minute ferry ride -- from the City of Hamilton. It's an old home (the oldest section dates from the 1700s), hidden under pine and palm trees, with shady lawns and flower
gardens. The manager welcomes guests in an antique-filled drawing
room. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service, by the Ashton family, personal. Frommers Guide Review
The property is situated on the Salt Kettle Peninsula, directly opposite the City of Hamilton which is just a short ferry ride away. Bermudas famous pink beaches are just 10 minutes away by

At the last minute, we stayed here with our 14-mo-old son. We enjoyed our stay You can swim off the floating dock. And the place is a 3-min walk to the ferry so we were able to go into Hamilton every day. It's also very close to the bus They have very nice views of the harbor. The price is great too.
