The Bloomer Mansion: Common Areas. The Bloomer Mansion has 3 floors. The basement consists of two recreation rooms, half bath, and our new 5 person. The first floor has the living room, kids play-den, dining room, butlers pantry, kitchen, Grandmas room with full bath, a second half-bath and deck. The second floor has five bedrooms and 2 full baths. High Speed Internet access is available throughout the house. We had several glimpses of twin baby fawns and their mother from the lavish picture windows. The binoculars were a welcome touch. The kids tried to count the spots on the cute little babies!. The Matson Family, Battleground. This open and spacious 800 square foot area has seating for fifteen with a large black marble fireplace that is always stocked with firewood, 1904 Baldwin 9 foot grand piano (tuned and ready to play), and large windows where deer can often be seen wandering past outside. A half-bath and deck are nearby. The original wallpaper is amazing in its color and garish style, and has been there since 1932. This room has four sofa's, two arm chairs, a 42 Flatscreen HDTV with 135 cable channels, DVD player and dozens of DVDs. Click the photo for a closer look. A 19th century table which comfortably seats ten and antique buffets await you in our 350 square foot dining room. Large windows add to an already spacious environment. Like the living room, the wallpaper here is all original; dating back nearly 90 years. This room connects to the living room, and is a favorite with guests. We have a few dozen puzzles, over 30 different board and dice games and of course, a great many family meals have been served here. A fabulously-equipped kitchen made the weeks meals a pleasure to prepare and eat.. The Horner Family, Richland. Where a bit of the old meets a bit of the new, our 200 square foot kitchen area boasts lots of cupboard space and a large attached butler's pantry, and is stocked with just about everything and anything needed for cooking and entertaining, including a dishwasher, microwave oven, crock pot, waffle maker, french press, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, griddle for pancakes, and much more. We have guests who come every year to cook holiday feasts. If you need something for cooking and you do not find it at the Bloomer Mansion, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We also stock basic spices, salt, pepper, sugar and flour. If you need something quick, a full grocery store, is just two blocks east, and 3 blocks south of the Bloomer Mansion. Also in the kitchen is a round claw-foot table with seating for up to five. Two high chairs and a booster seat are available. Enjoy the afternoon sun with family and friends on the deck, situated just off of the main living room. This was built new this year, and is over 250 square foot with new propane barbecue, 8 chairs and a table. The deck is fenced, so it is a great area for small children to play safely outdoors. Sit under the stars and enjoy our brand new. St Andrews Signature Spa from Clearwater Spas. This hot tub seats five and has 57 jets and 86 fully adjustable nozzles, allowing each person to adjust the settings for the perfect under-water massage. The nozzles will massage your neck, back, legs and feet. The spa uses very little chemicals, so the water feels and smells fresh. It has a waterfall feature, LED lighting for nighttime use, and you can set the thermostat to the temperature you like best. It truly is the best spa experience you will ever have. With a pool table, ping pong table, a new 50 flat screen Plasma HDTV, 135 cable channels and DVD and VHS players, and a wide assortment of movies, our recreation room is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We just added high speed wireless internet Wi-Fi (3 MB) and with the following games: Kameo: Elements of Power, Viva Pinata, Gears of War, XBox Live Arcade, Halo 2, Project Gotham Racing 3, Fuzion frenzy with 40 mini-games, NZ Nighty Nine Nights, Counter strike, MechAssault2 Lone Wolf, Arcade unplugged, Perfect Dark Zero. If you prefer not to have video games at the Bloomer Mansion, please let the Innkeepers know, and we will gladly remove the console and games from the premises during your stay. Our 225 square foot bonus room downstairs has a professional foosball table and a slate bumper pool table. Both are in perfect condition, and are great fun for kids of all ages. A new super-capacity front-load washer and dryer pair make laundry easy, as does the folding table and ironing board with iron. Detergent and bleach are available.

The Tinker House has 14 rooms with 4 bedrooms and a sitting room that can be used as an extra bedroom. The nine rooms downstairs are: Kitchen, dining room, living room, sun room, sitting room, master bedroom, master bathroom, extra full bath and laundry room. The five rooms upstairs: Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The Tinker House Downstairs. The Tinker living room is filled with natural light, and provides seating for up to ten people, with a full sofa, love seat, and antique chairs. Our guests enjoy the propane stove, which both heats the room and also adds ambiance by having a fire nearby, at the turn of a switch. The original fir floors have been completely refinished and a picture of the house in the early 1900's adorns the wall. Come enjoy a glass of wine or hot chocolate by the fire, while becoming part of the history of the Tinker home. The dining room comfortably seats up to 8 people, and hosts an early 20th century wood-cooking stove. The room has a lot of natural light from west and south facing windows. Enjoy the original tongue-n-groove woodwork from the 1800's, and the second servants staircase that leads up the second story bedrooms. This room is a great place for meals for smaller groups, or a friendly board or card game. This original kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware, you need to make a sumptious breakfast, lunch or dinner. Appliances include oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, teapot, and more. All plates, glasses, silverware, towels, knifes are included. The kitchen still has the original 19th century cupboards, but modern countertops and amenities. This wonderful and well-lit sun room sits off the main living room and has direct access to the wrap-around porch. It is a beautifully quiet place to sit and read or think, and is also ideal for toddlers to come and play with the toys hidden in the toy chest below the bench. The Tinker house has two master bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. This one on the first level has a canopy bed with a king mattress, direct access to the master bath, and a west facing sun-room with room enough for two to sit and read or just chat. This room is a favorite for families with very small children. The bathroom off the master bath has been fully remodeled and modernized. Laundry Room. This laundry room is off the kitchen and has washer, dryer and room to fold clothes and linens. Linens are provided and we only ask our guests to strip the beds before leaving the Tinker Home. UPSTAIRS Tinker House. The second floor of the Tinker house, with two staircases, three bedrooms and two baths is absolutely gorgeous. It has been meticulously restored to its original glory. The second-story master bedroom is an extra large that includes a wardrobe, four poster antique bed, end tables and direct access to the 19 century master bathroom. This room has the original hard-wood floor, and a wonderful view out the west facing windows. Master Bath Upstairs. This is the original bathroom with a chain pull flusher that our grandparents would have used when they were young. The claw foot tub is wonderful for soaking in and the east facing windows add a lot of extra natural light. 2nd Bedroom Upstairs. This is bedroom has a queen bed, antique quilt and a small closet for hanging clothes. It reminds us of what it would have been like visiting our grandparents years ago and climbing upstairs to our cozy room in the attic. The second bathroom (below) sits just off of this room. 2nd Bathroom upstairs. This second full bathroom has the wonderful feel of the 1800's, but with a modern extra large soaking tub to relax and unwind. The third bedroom upstairs has a corner ocean view, with two twin beds. This is one of our favorite rooms in the house, as it has all the character and charm of an early 19th century Bed and Breakfast but with the conveniences of the 20the century with central heating and access to the modern bathrooms.
