We pride ourselves in making you feel at home. We are happy to offer several lodging options to suit different tastes and budgets. All of our cabanas are fully screened, equipped with ceiling fans, private baths with hot and cold showers. You can relax and listen to the sounds of the jungle from your very own veranda with a hammock and deck chairs for your comfort. All accommodations include two daily meals. Laundry service is also available. Valley View Thatched Cabanas - These cabanas offer a breath taking view of the Macal River valley and surrounding jungles. A gentle breeze and the thatched roof make the temperature inside the room pleasant both day and night. Each room contains a queen-sized bed and either a double, single or two single beds. Garden View Thatched Cabanas - As the name suggests, the Garden View cabanas offer a great view of the garden and landscape of Crystal Paradise. Each room has a double bed and single bed, or two single beds. Garden View Lofts Family Cabanas - We have four thatched cabanas with upstairs lofts. They are very spacious. These rooms have multiple beds, allowing for up to 8 people to stay comfortably. These rooms are great for family or groups of people. Regular Rooms - These are our most economical rooms. They do not have thatched roofs or private porch area, but they are located around a palapa with hammocks and chairs for all to use. * All of our room rates include dinner and breakfast. Resort Grounds and Features. Palapas - There are three palapas at Crystal Paradise. A palapa is a round structure with thatched roof. Each thatched palapa features hammocks and sitting area for relaxing and enjoying the scenery on the grounds, especially in our gardens inhabited with singing birds. Deck - The deck next to the dining room overlooks the valley and is an ideal place for spotting birds. Three spotting scopes and binoculars are available for birding. Frequent visitors include hummingbirds, tanagers, honeycreepers, and flycatchers. Later in the evening, the deck is a good place to meet after a day of activities and join the family and other guests for a chat. Our Kitchen - The kitchen serves up the best of mouth-watering home cooking. You can sample a variety of homemade local dishes, home- grown coffee, fresh in-season fruits and veggies prepared by mother and daughters. Our meals are served family style. Have breakfast and dinner with us in our open-air thatched roof dining room overlooking the jungles, beautiful palms, and exotic trees. You'll be sure to have plenty to eat here at Crystal Paradise. Self-Service Bar - Our bar offers local and international beverages. After an exciting day of discovery and exploration you can relax with a refreshing drink from the self-service bar and share your day's adventure with other guests. The bar serves various things from refreshing limeade to rum punches and margaritas. Be sure to try our specials or sample many of our local rums, beers, etc. Your first drink is on the house. The Resort Grounds - Crystal Paradise is situated on 21 acres of land near the Macal River. The jungle is rich with a diversity of life. Over 265 species of birds have been sighted on the Crystal Paradise property. In addition to a number of orchid species, there are over 150 species of plants and trees that are found on the property. Fruit trees such as mangoes, pineapples, avocados, bananas, and citrus, as well as many flowering plants and trees can be seen year round. Bird Perch - This observation tower was built so that our guests can enjoy an above-the-canopy view. The deck is a great place to watch the birds, admire a Belizean sunset, sunbathe, or just relax and enjoy the view. The Gardens at Crystal Paradise consists of more than 150 species of plants and trees in addition to a number of orchids species. Some of the trees include fruit trees such as mangos, pineapples, avocados, bananas, citrus and many flowering plants and trees. Operated by Belizean family. Thatched cabanas with ceiling fans. In order to make a reservation, we require an immediate deposit of 30% of the total due, with full payment due 30 days in advance of arrival. Cancellations made at least 60 days prior to the scheduled trip will have the full amount of deposit minus $60.00U.S. handling fee refunded. Cancellations made 60 - 30 days prior to the scheduled trip will have 50% of the deposit refunded minus $60.00U.S. handling fee. No deposit will be refunded for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled trip. No refunds for any unused days or portions of packages.
