Shopping is also a favourite for overseas travelers, and we know where to buy all the best and cheapest items. We'll take you there!!! You see, there are two sets of prices here in Thailand - those for Thai natives and those for tourists. We'll help you get the best prices around. All we ask for in return is help with the petrol. You know, hiring a car here is more expensive than in most Western countries. Not only that, but the traffic is unbelievable! Without a car, you just can't get around. Let us take you to the towns you would like to visit, and you will arrive in more comfort and in more safety. To view our recommended day trips, The page includes information on tourist locations throughout Thailand. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to. We'll let you use our Internet connection to send e-mails home free of charge. Our family has done a lot of travelling in the past, and we know what it is to be missing home. We own a Panasonic NV-VS5 video camera. If you don't own a video camera, or you don't want to bring yours to Thailand, we will more than happily make a video for you. As you visit the sights and sounds, we'll be there making a video for you to take home to show your family and friends. Those of you who are a little camera shy, don't worry - we'll be concentrating on the scenery, not on you. Before you leave, we will convert to the tape to VHS and you will have some video memories of your stay here. The charge for this service is only 500 baht.
Bangyai Bed Breakfast is about family and enjoyment. When you stay with us you are one of the family. And as it is your holiday, you decide where you want to go and what you would like to do. Our aim is to provide safe, clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation in which you feel at home. Stay with us and you will learn about the Thai way of life. From our own experiences staying abroad, we realise that differences in languages can sometimes be an obstacle. We offer our services so that nothing stands between you and enjoyment. As we take you around the country we will explain to you all about the history and the people of the areas we visit. We will, of course, answer any questions you might have so you will go home appreciating our culture and the land you have visited. The house itself was built about sixteen years ago, but renovations were made in April, 2002. In this renovation, we put a shower and bath in our main bathroom. This included the installation of a hot water system (even though you don't really need hot water - it rarely drops below 25C here). Two new bedrooms were built out the back. The kitchen is adjacent to the bedrooms, as well as a living room with a few couches. The bedrooms are air-conditioned so you can beat the heat. They both have televisions, and are finished in a cool blue colour. Pay-TV is in the main living room of the house where all the English channels can be viewed. Feel free to use it at anytime. Our computer with Internet access is also in the living room, so you can contact home any time you like. Our family's main living quarters is upstairs, so you can experience a sense of privacy with your own area in the house. Just make yourself comfortable and feel like you are at home. We feel comfort is the most important part of accommodation while on holidays, and we believe we can provide exactly that.
We consider our prices to be quite reasonable, and we believe we are offering the best of services available in Thailand. Fried pork or chicken with rice, coffee or juice, toast with butter and a choice of jams. Our family recently purchased an Isuzu 4WD Adventurer that seats seven people. You are guaranteed, therefore, that no road is closed to you. There are many beautiful places in Thailand that are open to 4WD's only. These are mostly in the northern parts of the country where mountains and forests spread across the landscape. We would hate to think that you missed some part of Thailand because we could not take you there.

It's just like staying a hotel! XE.com will convert your currencies for you. The Whole World of Accommodation
Below are some places of interest that we recommend travelling to, and we are more than happy to take you there. In fact, we will take you wherever in Thailand you would like to go. We will also do our best to make some commentary along the way so your experience is a more personal one. Our service fee for these trips is 2000 baht plus the price of petrol. The Grand Palace and Bangkok Visit the Grand Palace, where you will see the Emerald Buddha as well as the story of Ramayana brought to life in paintings that surround the Palace. Many other tourist sites lay near the palace, and the day can easily be spent taking in the history of Bangkok. Make sure you bring a hat though, the sun gets pretty strong here! Ayutthaya The former capital of Siam until 1767, when the Burmese invaded the city and destroyed it. It's ruins remain to remind us of a lifestyle that used to be. The modern city is built around the old ruins, mixing the two periods together. You can also go for an Elephant ride in Ayutthaya, or have lunch as you travel down the Chao Phraya River. Many other points of interest are in the vicinity, making Ayutthaya a city not to be missed. Kanchanaburi The site of the Bridge on the River Kwai, which was built by allied soldiers during the Second World War, Kanchanaburi is a favourite for overseas tourists. Take a train over the Bridge, or simply walk across and remember the hundred thousand lives that were lost building this railway between Thailand and Burma. A number of stores based around the tourism industry offer an opportunity to purchase some memorabilia. Sukhothai Sukhothai is the ancient capital of a long-lost Siam. Founded in 1238 and pillaged in 1350, it's ruins stand now amid the rice paddies and sudden hills that tower over the landscape. Some six hours from Bangkok, Sukhothai is not as well known as some other centers. Nevertheless, those interested in history should make the effort to visit. Chiang Mai Not really a day trip, Chiang Mai is some 12 hours from Bangkok. A city of almost a million people, Chiang Mai rests in the far northern mountains. Meet the people and the cultures of the northern tribespeople as you take a step back through time. We'll take you to all the points of interest. You really need two nights' stay in Chiang Mai to enjoy it properly. We'll find you the best and most affordable place to stay.

For those of you here on holiday, a few basic words to help you buy whatever you like would be quite helpful. We can teach you these simple words free of charge. The Thai language is quite easy you become acquainted with once you get over the hurdles of the five different tones. For those of you wanting to take on the language more fully, and who hate classes full with twenty people, we have the ideal setting for you. We have two teachers with Master's degrees either in Linguistics or International Communication, who can teach you the words you need to know to carry a conversation in Thai. They have experience in teaching, and charge just 200 baht per hour.
