The Grill, a 65-seat dining room, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A wood-burning fireplace, redwood-panelled walls and ceiling, specially commissioned artwork and window views to the mountains lend a mood of stylish comfort. Banquette seating mixes with chairs of rawhide and rattan. Tables are of black terrazzo, and the floor is a mix of carpet and slate. The Grill specialises in creative American cuisine including steaks, chops, seafood and regionally produced organic foods. Daily chefs choices are also featured. Private dinners and receptions are arranged in the Takoda Room, adjacent to the library and picnic lunches are available. The Bar is defined by rugged sandstone columns, half-a-dozen wrought-iron bar stools and an intimate, window-side setting of tables and chairs. In the summer, drinks can be taken out onto the adjacent terrace. Enjoy the views from cowhide chairs or banquette seating. Afternoons, a fireside menu of light meals and appetizers is available. There is a settee, along with rawhide-and-rattan chairs and views to the mountains. Books focus on the regions flora and fauna, Native American culture, Western art and the areas two national parks. A selection of novels, CDs, videos and games as well as a laptop for Internet access are also available. The living area consists of a king-size bed, metal fireplace, a window-side daybed for lounging, a black resin-and-terrazzo dining table, woven cowhide chairs in faux wolf fabric and a pine-stump table. The Deluxe Suites are similar in layout and design to the Suites but a little bigger. These suites have large balconies with mountain views. This suite is the same design and size as the Deluxe Suites but has a considerable balcony overlooking the Snake River valley and the Teton mountain range. The Amangani Suites have an expansive balcony or patio overlooking the Snake River valley and Teton mountain range. The 676ft suites have a generous bathing and dressing area creating an open, airy feel. Located on the ground floor this suite has a private patio and is 780ft, one of the most spacious suites. The suite has magnificent views of the Grand Teton Mountain range. This 676ft suite has a large balcony with lovely views of the pool area and the Grand Teton and is located on the top level. This top-level suite has breathtaking views of the Grand Teton and surrounding mountain range. The suite has a king-size bed in the bedroom/living-room area and a separate bathroom/dressing room area with a sunken tub, and a separate shower. The Grand Teton Suite is 625ft. Amangani also has homes for rent. The Homes at Amangani offer some of the most spectacular views in Jackson Hole. Each home is a reflection of its owners individual tastes and preferences set within the architectural framework of Amangani: shake roofs that follow the pitch of the hillside slopes and the use of wood siding, rock bases and a variety of natural materials to create a mountain home in harmony with its surroundings. In winter snow piles up carpeting the valley and offering an abundance of seasonal activities. Perched atop East Gros Ventre Butte, Amangani's unique location offers panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks around Grand Teton National Park. The alpine Teton Village, where Amangani's private Ski Lounge is located, is a 20-minute complimentary transfer from the resort. Jackson Hole averages 1,016cm (400 inches) of snow a year and enjoys some of the best skiing anywhere. In winter snow piles up to four metres (10ft) in the mountains and up to 1.5m in the valleys. The entire valley turns white after mid-November and winter can stretch past early April. The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort alone offers more than 1,000 hectares of skiing and snowboarding terrain, along with a vertical drop of more than 1,260m. Teton Village is an alpine community of shops, restaurants, bars and recreational activities. A scheduled, complimentary shuttle service, as well as private transfers, run between the resort and the Amangani ski lounge, 20 minutes away. Located just below Teton village's Bridger Gondola, the lounge serves as a meeting and resting place. Ski equipment and lessons are organised at the lounge and snacks, hot beverages, books and concierge service are available. Throughout the valley, there is ample opportunity for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing (to track winter wildlife) and even half-to-full-day dog-sledding. And few leave Jackson Hole without taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride into the National Elk Refuge. Dinner sleigh rides are a winter highlight at Amangani especially on moonlit nights. Sleighs take guests up the ridge of the butte to reveal panoramic views of the valley. Blankets are provided and dinner follows at The Granary. Jackson Hole in autumn is just as inviting as it is in high summer. The crowds have thinned, the air is bracing and guests can marvel at the remarkable autumn foliage. In Jackson Hole, many summer activities from wildlife safaris and hiking to mountain biking and fishing extend well into autumn. The call of the bull elk is heard throughout the region during the September-October mating season. Amangani arranges private trips to Jenny Lake, a favoured spot for mating elks. Hunting seasons for elk, deer and waterfowl are generally open from September until December. Though strictly regulated, black bears, mountain lions and other trophy species are also hunted. One day at least should be kept aside for Yellowstone National Park. Americas first national park and its largest outside Alaska, Yellowstone boasts its own Grand Canyon, plentiful geysers and Yellowstone Lake, the largest mountain lake in the USA.

The Health Center also offers a range of massages, facials and healing therapies. In the wet room, mud, salt and seaweed body treatments are available. Haircuts and deep conditioning, along with manicures and pedicures, are offered in the beauty salon. Slate floors and a wall in the silhouette of a mountain range grace both the mens and womens steam rooms. Treatments may also be taken here. Massage, health-and-beauty treatments and personalised exercise programmes may be enjoyed by the swimming pool or in the privacy of the guests suite.
