Leading west from the square is the Avenue of the Rruga Kavaje, on the corner of which stands the State Central Bank, established in 1945. Northwest off the avenue of the Peza Conference is the Durres Road which leads to the airport. From the south of the square runs the Avenue of the Martyrs of Nation. This has ministerial buildings on both sides.
