This hotel is in an excellent location and has the valuable benefit of a free car park. It is very comfortable and was very good value. We would use it again without hesitation. The location of the hotel was ideal - just a few minutes walk from the Minster and City centre. We were able to park up and leave the car until we were ready to leave York. The room was clean, comfortable and comparatively quiet though it was adjacent to the car park. Towels were changed daily the shower was hot and powerful. The rooms are good well furnished, they do a really good English breakfast, and the staff are always very pleasant, but the real plus from our point of view is the Minster hotels location just; 5 minutes walk and you are right in the City centre and this hotel has ample car parking.
