The Falls of Dochart by the bridge in Killin is a pleasant spot to sit when the rock slabs run dry, and a spectacular white water torrent in wet weather. These waters flow into Loch Tay and both the river and the loch attract fishermen. The hills and woods attract a great variety of wildlife and birds. Look for red squirrels on Inchbuie, the sacred island of the MacNabs, accessible from Killin bridge; or walk beside the River Lochay to Loch Tay to see water-birds and more.
