Quite close to Gustavelund, you can stroll along the Rantatie lakeside road that has seen many of the great men of Finnish art: author Juhani Aho, painters Pekka Halonen and Eero Järnefelt, poets Juho Heikki Erkko and Eino Leino, composer Jean Sibelius… Today, the road is a heritage site giving access to many historical places, including the cottage where Aleksis Kivi, the first great Finnish-language author, spent his last years; the Lotta Museum Syväranta and the studio home of Pekka Halonen. Ainola, the home and museum of Jean Sibelius, is also situated close to Rantatie. Gustavelund itself has an illustrious history. Originally known for its fine stables, it was transformed into a versatile conference hotel in 1990. Gustavelund offers professional conference services for both corporate and private customers. Gustavelund has also developed a wide range of entertainment services, with events taking place in the historic milieu of the Rantatie road and the pleasant facilities of Gustavelund - including its exotic indoor garden.

Gustavelund offers you comfortable conference rooms with all the standard equipment. Room sizes vary from a large auditorium to small groupwork rooms. Wireless Sonera wGate-internet connection work in all our conference and group works rooms, restaurants, hotel rooms and the lobby. This allows you to contact your own company network directly, and thus reduce the amount of conference material you need to bring with you. Gustavelund is also suitable for longer visits. After a long meeting and dinner with your guests, treat yourself to a restful night at the hotel instead of a long trip home. We offer comfortable, well-lit single and double rooms. All rooms have satellite TV and a mini bar. All single rooms and some of the double rooms have a view to our exotic indoor garden. We can provide accommodation for 126 to 170 guests. Rooms have wireless internet connection. Our hotel has three saunas. Two of them are located in the main building in the "sauna section". They have jacuzzis, showers, dressing rooms, lounge areas and access to a 17-metre swimming pool. Each sauna is large enough to accommodate 30 to 40 bathers at a time. Adjacent to the pool saunas is the Sauna Cabinet, which comfortably seats 10–15 persons. Kyostinranta is a separate building on the lakeside. It has a fully equipped meeting room upstairs. The sauna, showers and dressing rooms are downstairs. There is also a terrace adjacent to the sauna, and a fireplace on both floors. Kyostinranta is a wonderful location for spending an evening for groups of 15-30 people. The recreation area and fireplace offer a cosy atmosphere for groups of up to 30 people. There is also a great view of Lake Tuusulanjärvi. Adjacent to the recreation room is an outdoor terrace for 80 people. Next to the terrace, there is a banquet hall, also for 80 people.

Our hotel has several restaurants and terraces, all of which are licensed to serve alcohol, as are the conference facilities. Restaurant Gustavelund: Our premier dining area is the spacious and light Restaurant Gustavelund, with a splendid view over parkland to Lake Tuusulanjärvi. This is where we serve breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon coffee, and dinner. Our buffet lunch includes the soup of the day, a choice of salads, two warm main courses, and dessert with coffee, biscuits and fruit. The restaurant seats up to 250 diners. Just outside is a terrace and garden where occasions can be arranged for up to 500 people. Gustava Glub and Mauri's Hall: The restaurant facilities on the ground floor include a dinner restaurant seating some 60 people and an adjacent Mauri's Hall for 70 people, a recreation area with a fireplace, and an outdoor terrace. These facilities can be booked separately or together. The Mauri's Hall is available for celebrations, receptions, cocktail events and other occasions. The Gustava Club is open in the evenings for hotel guests. You can dance the night away! Mauri's Hall is a nice place for parties and social evenings. The recreation area and fireplace offer a cosy atmosphere for groups of up to 30 people. There is also a great view of Lake Tuusulanjärvi, and an outdoor terrace for 80 people. Indoor garden: The hotel wing surprises with its lush indoor garden of tropical palms and other greenery, complete with the restful chatter of a fountain! Its holiday atmosphere is the perfect setting for celebrations and an excellent backdrop for a host of programmes. The garden can be converted into the exotic East, or the wild West, or a Samba scene. In the indoor garden, we can arrange any kind of event you desire – your own imagination is the only limit. The indoor garden can seat some 130 guests. Outdoors: Gustavelund’s parkland milieu, on the shores of Lake Tuusulanjärvi, offers a host of opportunities for both summer and winter. In summer, we arrange barbeques in the covered terrace and the park, enjoying fresh fish by the lake, robber’s roast and glow-fried salmon. And if it happens to rain, there is plenty of room indoors. The terrace is a unique setting for small and big groups of up to 500 people.
