The Hotel has 16 rooms. (All second floor and Non-Smoking) All have private baths and individual room climate controls. All rooms have TV. Phones are in a limited number of rooms but a house phone is located in the landing, at the top of the stairs. There are 6 suite rooms and two of them have 2 twin beds in them for ladies groups or friends traveling together. A Continental Breakfast is provided every morning in the dinning room. The Dinning room is also used for Candle Light dinners for two, Family gatherings, Catered group meals and corporate meetings.. The Hotel was originally constructed for the large railroad business that was prominent in Fort Scott at that time. The Courtland Hotel Day Spa has retained its historic Charm even with the addition of the new Day Spa facilities that have been added on the lower level of the Hotel. The Courtland Hotel Day Spa offers an opportunity of a relaxing getaway for Couples, Groups or individuals looking for some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is a theme room called Willow Mist, calling upon the colors, feelings and beauty of the local countryside.

The Day Spa offers a full line of Spa Services. When it was decided to create the Destination Hotel Day Spa, it was determined that it would have to be inviting and peaceful. As well as have the ability to accommodate Couples, Friends or small groups, at the same time. There are Four Therapy rooms. Two are large enough for Couples to both receive services together in the same room. One room was specifically designed for doing Facials, Waxing, Body Wraps as well as Massages. And the fourth is for individual services. We have installed a Rain shower for our guests to use to remove muds, oils, lotions, etc. Before dressing or going to the next service they have scheduled. For the Feet we installed two Pipeless Pedithrones. The pipeless pedithrones are the most sanitary available on the market. The pumps are inside the bowl and are removed and replaced with sanitized pumps between each service. There are two manicure stations. So as to go along with the concept that Couples can come into the Spa and experience it together. Massages offered are: Traditional Swedish, Deep tissue, Prenatal, Couples, Lymphatic Drain, River Stone, Sports, Chair, and Fibromyalgia. Other Services include: Facials, Body Wraps, Manicures, Pedicures, Acrylic Nails, Body Waxing, Reflexology, Spray Tanning, Make-up application, Cellulite removal treatments, LED Light application, Rain shower and Temporary Tattoos. The combined facility allows you to not have to leave the building for your entire stay, if you don't want to. You can check in and stay in. Get pampered in the Spa and have your meals prepared in-house or go to one of the local favorite restaurants that are with-in walking distance.
