For conferences, why not round off the day with a traditional meal in our restaurant or in our health club. Conferences, either residential or non-residential, will be held in our special adapted room : which includes a flipchart, a screen, a TV, a video tape recorder, a phone, and if requested a fax at your disposal. For any other equipment, please ask, we will rent it for you. A conference day at Le Nuage is organized as the following: welcoming coffee served on arrival, two breaks during the day (usually one in the morning and one in the afternoon), meal(s), day use of our conference room and then a nice rest in our bedrooms for residential congress. If you have anymore requests, please ask.

All the Bedrooms are on the ground floor with direct access from the private car park. Each room has a small terrace at the rear overlooking the countryside. The apartment will be suitable for a one night stay or longer, it has two double bedded rooms in the mezzanine, twin beds downstairs, private bathroom, kitchen corner. One of the room has been designed to welcome disable people. The Hotel is situated around 1h 30 from Paris just off the N7 in the charming and peaceful countryside of the Loire valley and the Sologne, you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome from Alexandra and Nicolas. To discover the several savours of the area or for a pleasant stay, please, come : Enjoy a relaxing, informal meeting in their traditional restaurant. The Hotel offers 15 attractively decorated bedrooms and one apartment with a mezzanine that can accommodate up to 6 people. Relax in the health club using the sauna, the steam room or the jaccuzzi. Whatever the season, La Bussiere and the surrounding area is ideal for a quiet relaxing break.

Our hotel offers free access to the Health Club : sauna, steam room, jaccuzzi, fitness. In addition to all the traditional sightseeing pleasures you will find opportunities to play golf and tennis; to go bowling, horseback riding, swimming, karting or bicycling; and to visit our local car boot sales or antics exhibitions which are organised all year round in the area. There are also cruises on the local canal!

An invitation to dream and exotism. The previous residence of the Vilmorin family possesses today an incredible collection of European trees. Three discovery footpaths allow visitors to appreciate this unique site where you will find 2700 rare species on 35 hectares : a Sequoia of 46 meters, Thuja with 80 trunks, and specimens of bushes from the five continents! The Museum of Gien China. Located in an old cellar, this museum presents an important collection of Gien China, including examples from a wide range of production, techniques and styles. Inspiration for the china comes from the Renaissance period and the Far East. Recent examples include very contemporary designs. Some memories of your visit are available in the crockery shop. The International Hunting Museum of Gien. The International Hunting Museum was established in 1952 in the chateau of Gien which was built overlooking the Loire in 1484 by Anne of Beaujeu, the daughter of Louis XI. For both hunters and art enthusiasts, this museum has numerous souvenirs on display in admirable, surrowdings tapestries, paintings (100 Desportes), weapons, a trophy of Claude Hettier de Boislambert, a collection of horns and venery studs... The Mosaic and Enamels Museum of Briare. The enamelled mosaics or the hard stones ones have been synonymous with luxury and refinement since the Antiquity. They were essentials for everyday life of Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, and Byzantines. In the 19th Century, J.F Bapterosses invented the industrial process in making enamels, that soon has been recognized all over the world. Colette Museum, Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye. It has been created in St Sauveur en Puisaye Castle, dominating the village and her native place of witch you will discover the garden from the windows. It's a new kind of museum full of sensations, given in a certain way by the blue light, Colette favourite colour. The presence of her soul is undeniable with numerous photographs, with her glass balls collections and her butterflies cabinet. At random of its imaginary library, you will meet with the writer and her works. The Old Crafts Museum in Argent sur Sauldre. With the precious ability of Craftsmen, tools are giving birth to incredible masterpieces and add by this way to the human beings' pride. This museum presents the main tools used in the 19th Century by iron, fire, and wood craftsmen. Following the explanations of their ability, you will understand each tools' purpose, discover some objects made by these craftsmen and their positions in a village life. The Witchcraft Museum in Blancafort. A trip in between tradition and imagination. This Museum was created in Berry, (center of France area). Its atmosphere is amazing and magic, it recreates historical scenes about witches from the Prehistory until the 19th Century. A surprising way of learning about this unrecognized circle, part of our cultural heritage.

Come and appreciate the friendly atmosphere of our restaurant, Le Nuage will share with you its taste for the traditional and generously served seasonal dishes prepared and presented by our chef de cuisine Brice Boutin, complimented by our wine list specialising in the Wines of the Loire Valley. For family celebrations, business or groups, we will create together a menu corresponding to your desire and budget. We offer a private function room which is also available for meetings etc. A Take-Away service is available if required.

The chateau of La Bussiere. The chateau of Pont-Chevron. The chateau of Saint-Brisson. Dating from the 12th century, the Chateau of Saint- Brisson-sur-Loire was built on a promontory overlooking the southern slopes of the Loire Valley. It belonged to several distinguished families including the Courtenays and the Seguiers from 1567 and was bequeathed to the commune of Saint-Brisson-sur-Loire in 1987. This edifice welcomed Louis le Gros in 1135 and Philippe Auguste in 1181, underment several transformations according to fashions along the ages. The chateau of Sully. This castle, still amazing to see was originally built as a fortress in the 14th century on a Loire islet. Designed by an architect of King Charles V, it was purchased in 1602 by Maximilien de Bethune (well known under the name of Sully), who was secretary to Henry the 4th. The four towers at each corner of the original keep are still preserved. Each year in June an international music festival is organised on the grounds. Saint-Fargeau Castle and its festival. It was built in 980, as a fortified meeting point for hunters by Heribert, Hugues Capet son, and then, in 1453, by Antoine de Cabannes, they added to the previous building, its pentagonal form with its six towers. Each year, in July and August, one of the famous French summer festival is organised with an amazing historical reconstitution and fireworks, performed by 600 actors and 60 riders. The Medieval Guedelon building site. Several years ago some people decided to build a fortified castle using the same materials, tools, process of the Middle Ages. The 18th century manor house is surrounded by a contemporary garden witch reflects that period. Beautifully planted borders with old roses, perennials, bulbs, shrubs and topiaries of yews and boxes, thrive around the planted moats. Parkland, majestic limitrees walk, fontains, pools, antic statues add their attraction. The grand prize of Societe Nationale d'Horticulture de France, rewarded the garden where perfumes and whispering of the water will accompany your walk. Along the last wild european river, discover the King Valley. A unique site in the world, where you can travel in the French history. You will ba able to admire the castles, churches, abbeys and their incredible treasures.

AAfter a long journey or a busy day, or an active sightseeing walk, you can relax and use our sauna, steam room, jaccuzzi, or body building machines. Our health club can also be used by outside guests but on reservation only.

Landscape of ponds and large forests, this area is a paradise for the fauna mostly represented by games like for instance : stag, roe-deer, wild boar, rabbits, hares, pheasants, ducks. What a magic moment when walking around you meet one of these surprising and cute animals. Walking, biking, or horseback riding going from a castle to another by the wood tracks, along the canal or the Loire. Do not forget to cross the river on the wellknown Pont Canal de Briare or to climb to the top of the splendid seven locks of Rogny les 7 ecluses. This area is a source of everyone's happiness. An authentic and ancestral tradition in this are. It's evoking the free and wild nature, the long walks in the woods changing their colors at each seasons, and of course the simple and delicious cuisine of our grand parents. Various hunting associations are proposing vast and varied territories private or part of the villages associations. Is also a tradition in the area. You will find many ponds or rivers abounding with fish. Then, take advantage of the fishing, or just sample a peaceful moment stopping by the water.
