Accessibility Statement. Elm Crest Guest House is committed to ensure an appropriate accommodation service for prospective guests with disabilities. Due to the layout of Elm Crest and the fact that it is a Grade II listed building, we are unable to make alterations to provide facilities for guests with severe mobility limitations such as ramps and stair lifts. However we welcome any enquiries from guests with disabilities, so we can discuss their needs and all reasonable attempts will be made to meet these. *   Assistance dogs welcome in all rooms. *   Building has current fire certificate. *   Fire alarm is audible only. *   Emergency information can be communicated verbally on request. *   Copies of all public transport timetables are available. *   The nearest train station is in  Huddersfield Town centre, which is less than two miles from Elm Crest. *   The nearest bus station is in Huddersfield Town centre which is located less than two miles from  Elm Crest. *   Taxis are available immediately outside the Railway and Bus  stations. *  The nearest bus stop is approximately 50 metres from Elm Crest either to go to or from Huddersfield Town centre. *   A list of local taxis can be provided. *    Assistance with luggage is offered. *   All rooms have remote control Television. *   All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. *   All rooms have hairdryers. *   All rooms have internal telephones. *   Mobile phone coverage is adequate for most networks. *   Our breakfast menu and guest information can be provided in large print and/or described verbally. *   A variety of dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notification. *   Guests are welcome to store medications/insulin/special foods, in one of our fridges if so required. *   People with nut allergies should be aware that we use nuts in the kitchen. *   WIFI is available. *   Ironing facilities are available. Access to Main House. *   Secured Parking is available, surfaced with gravel, located immediately to the bottom side of the Guest house. *   There are eight steps upto the front door. *   The garden is easily accessible through the car park. *   The dining room/ guest lounge is the only room for guest use and is situated on the ground floor. Access to Guest Bedrooms. Once accessed, there are no steps within the bedrooms / ensuites. This is a Twin bedded room with private facilities and is located on the first half landing. This is Thirteen steps from ground level. There is a wash basin ( with shaver point above ) in the room, the shower/w.c. is located just outside the bedroom approximately 1.5 metres form the room door. There is a shower cubicle with a bi-fold door and the shower tray height is ten centimetres, the rest of the fittings are standard. There are no wall mounted hand / grab rails. This is a single en-suite room which is located on the first floor, nineteen steps from the ground floor. There is a wash basin ( with shower point above ). This is a double  en-suite room which is located on the first floor, nineteen steps from the ground floor. This is a Twin bedded room with private facilities and is located on the second half landing. This is Twenty-nine  steps from ground level. This is a Twin bedded  en-suite room which is located on the second  floor, Thirty-seven  steps from the ground floor. This is a double  en-suite room which is located on the second floor, thirty-seven  steps from the ground floor.

Elm Crest has Seven individual  Rooms, Two Doubles, and One Twin ensuite, Two Twins with private facilities and Two single ensuite rooms. At Elm Crest we hope to provide you a stay to remember and the room includes a Full Course English, Continental or vegetarian Breakfast with Homemade Jams and Fruit Salad. The inclusive nightly cost of the rooms range from a Single ensuite at £ 32.50 to a Double En-suite at £ 59.50.
