Fu Yuanting. An economist, Mr. Fu graduated from the People of China Public
Security University. He is a delegate of the Qingdao Public Relations Association and the Qingdao Chefs Association. His career in hospitality management began in 1987. He held the post of Vice President of the 3-star Shifeng hotel, the first investment hotel in Qingdao. He introduced the famous brand Donglaishun to Qingdao. He has made many journeys to Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia and the Arab Emirates [UAE] to study modern hotel management. Bureau management training sessions in engineering supervision, maintenance and cost estimating. He has often been dispatched to other hotels to train and manage these departments and has assumed responsibility for surveys, consultation and implementation of engineering matters for client properties. Needless to say these assignments have added to his rich store of experience in hotel engineering, management and training. In 2002, as tribute to and recognition of these skills he received the award of Model Worker of Qingdao.
