The Edinburgh International Conference Centre is only a five minute walk from The Guest House. We have easy access to the local bus service which runs frequently. The bus stop is situated outside our premises and the bus service takes you to most of the major attractions, such as, The Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, The Royal Mile(Old Town), The National Gallery, Museums and other historical places in Edinburgh. The Kaimes Guest House is a beautifully decorated Victorian House which is centrally located and has 12 bedrooms which consist of family rooms, double/twin rooms, triple rooms and single rooms. Kaimes Guest House - Getting There. Getting there from the Information Centre. From the Tourist Information Centre, go onto Princes Street. From Princes Street (garden side), take Lothian Bus No. 10 to Gilmore Place, which becomes Granville Terrace. (Please note that change is not given on Lothian Bus services). Getting There by Car. We have limited parking for 3 cars. Getting There by Railway. From Waverley Train Station, go onto Princes Street. Remain on the same side as Princes Street Gardens and take Lothian Bus No. 10 to Gilmore Place, which becomes Granville Terrace. (Please note that change is not given on Lothian bus services). Getting there by Aeroplane. From Edinburgh Airport, take the airport bus to the city centre and get off at the west end of Princes Street, opposite the Caledonian Hotel. Cross to the other side of Princes Street Street (garden side) and take Lothian Bus No. 10 to Gilmore Place, which then joins Granville Terrace.
