Coral Cove Villa: The main house consists of four levels. The lower level contains a full
kitchen with all custom cedar cabinetry and tiled countertops, a foyer with an island
bar with a tiled top and a coral base, and a large
veranda for dining. A sitting
room just off the
veranda houses a
stereo system, a collection of books, and arts and crafts from local artisans. The custom
furniture and cabinetry throughout all of the
rooms was custom built by Peter Blacker, a local craftsman. The wicker
furniture was created by Renford McCallum, (AKA Wickerman). All of these
rooms have unrestricted views of the Caribbean Sea and the
gardens of Coral Cove. Coral Cove Villa Accommodations (six
bedrooms). 1. The Starfish on the lower level is comprised of
three rooms including a
bedroom appointed with a queen size bed, a front
room overlooking the beach and cove, and a full
bath with tiled
shower. Furnishings are custom built, including a wardrobe, writing table,
coffee table, wicker loveseat and chairs. The floors are terra cotta tiled, ceiling fans are throughout.. 2. The Sea Grape and 3. Queen Conch: Separate accommodations on the second level, they are fronted by a large covered
verandah. Both are cool and spacious with high ceilings, polished hardwood floors, cedar wardrobes and cabinetry. The
baths are custom, blending coral, mosaic tile, and cedar. A wall in the
bath of the Sea Grape has a beautiful reef scene, hand painted by long time Little Bay artist and musician Steve Stone. Beds can be king size or extra long twins. Appointments include: vanities, writing tables, lamps, wicker chairs, and benches.. The
bedroom was airy with the ocean breeze and a light smell of cedar from the beautiful
furniture and the bed was decorated with clean white linen. 4. The Momma Beach: A large
two room suite on the second level that opens out on to a round
verandah, overlooking the beach and cove. Two sets of six foot French doors are laid open letting in the sights and sounds of the Caribbean Sea. The
bedroom is furnished with a queen size post bed beautifully handcrafted from bamboo, and a built-in cedar wardrobe with storage drawers. The front

suite has a wetbar and is appointed with two sofas that were custom designed to make into two single beds or may be joined together as a seamless double. A
coffee table, lamps, writing tables, and wicker
furniture are throughout. The
bath is spacious with a 28 square foot
shower and also sports a Steve Stone hand-painted original coral reef scene on one wall.. 5. The Doctor Bird is perched high atop the villa and is a favorite for newlyweds, reached by way of a cedar spiral staircase. The bi-level accommodations of the Doctor Bird include the third level of the villa, which is home to the Hummingbird, an intimate, fully contained
bar with a birds eye view of the Caribbean Sea. Romantic dining is an option as well as dancing on either level of the private patios. A half moon staircase from the third level of the Doctor Bird leads up to the quaint cottage, appointed with a queen size bed, writing table and chairs, wicker wardrobe, full
bath with a custom
shower of coral and tile, hardwood floors, ceiling fan, all with an unrestricted 360 degree view of the sea and mountains.. The Momma Beach

two bedrooms). 6. The Ackee Tree Cottage is a
private two-bedroom, one
bath cottage with a
veranda overlooking the
gardens of Coral Cove. With a glimpse of the sea, this is comprised of one large
bedroom with a sprawling king size bed that can be made into two extra long twins. In addition, a smaller
bedroom can hold a double or two singles. A sitting
room with table and chairs, wet
bar, and
refrigerator compliments this
two bedroom unit.. The Turtle Beach
Rooms (six
bedrooms). 7. The Marlin is a spacious second level
room. Designed with high ceilings, fans polished hardwood floors, and louvered windows that wrap the east and south side. A pair of French doors open to the wide
verandah that sets directly above the sea. The custom
bathroom includes a spacious
shower built with stone and ceramic tile that is open to the blue afternoon sky or to the light of a silver moon. Appointed with a queen size bed or two extra long twins, a cedar wardrobe and table all custom built by Peter Blacker and wicker chairs by Renford McCallum a.k.a. Wickerman. An in

CD player for your use.. 8. The Sailfish is a galley
room on the second level with a spacious, artisan built custom
bath. Appointed with a queen size bed or two extra-long twins, hardwood floors, ceiling fan, a cedar wardrobe, table and wicker chairs. French doors open wide to the
verandah. This
room has AC,
radio, and a
CD player.. 9. The Bonita is designed and appointed very similar to the Sailfish. 10. The Dolphin is the twin to the Marlin. Located on the west end of the second level also facing the sea and just a staircase away from a wonderful, seagrape shaded hammock area.. Custom Built Open Air
Showers. 11. Starlight 12. Starbright: A spiral staircase leads to French doors and cedar louvers that open wide to the sea. Hardwood floors from the native Guango tree, walls of cedar and stone with ceiling fans and cool thatched roofs, custom
baths, wet
bars, and CD systems compliment these spacious
suites. Appointments include king size beds and hand crafted
furniture by Peter Blacker. Wicker chairs and floor lamps by Renford McCallum. a.k.a. Wickerman. Each
suite has 300 square feet of terra cotta tiled

What about transportation ? The easiest, most economical way is to let us arrange for you to be met at the
airport. The rate is $90.00 US for up to 4 persons one way; additional persons are $20.00 each.
Car rental is available at the
airport as are
taxis. Remember, you drive on the left hand side of the road. Unless you are a frequent traveler to Jamaica it is generally best to leave the driving to a Jamaican. How
safe is it ? Jamaica has been voted several years running by Caribbean Life Magazine as The Friendliest Island in the Caribbean. Little Bay has to be one of the
safest, friendliest places in Jamaica. What about money ? US dollars or traveler's checks are good in most places. It is good to have a major credit card along for emergencies. Coral Cove highly recommends that you have some traveler checks or cash with you as we are in a secluded location and don't have large sums of cash on hand. You will want to change some of your currency into Jamaican dollars at the
airport or at a cambio for small purchases during your stay as well as pay your driver on arrival or departure. Can childcare be arranged ? Childcare can be arranged hourly or daily at a reasonable rate, depending upon the age and number of children involved. What about meals, are they included?

Lunch, and your Candlelight
Dinner are included in your rate. At Coral Cove we serve a very generous
breakfast at about 9:00. For midday the menu varies however remains consistently good. Complimenting the daily fruit platter, you may have sandwiches, soups and salads along with a veggie or chicken pattie, possibly a Jamaican Seafood Pie. New items are added on a regular basis. We also encourage our guests to try some of the local fare. A walk or
bike ride to Uncle Sam's
Garden Park for some fresh conch soup or fried chicken is highly recommended. Dining by candlelight, your evening entree's will include fresh catch seafood, chicken, beef, or pork, prepared in a variety of ways by your expert Jamaican Chefs. All accompanied by fresh vegetable plates, salads, fruits and homemade breads. Can you help with flights ? We can put you in contact with an agent that we use, whose
business is primarily travel to Jamaica. Money can be saved on charter flights from many major
airports. Is there
laundry service? Washing, drying, and folding are available at $10.00 for a large load. Pressing is also available. What about tipping the staff ? Gratuity is already included with your reservation. However, feel free to leave more if the service so moves you. HELPFUL AREA INFORMATION. BANKING Commercial
banks maintain branches throughout the island: The hours are 9 A.M. - 2 P.M. on Mondays to Thursdays; 9 A.M. - 12 P.M. and 2:30 - 5 P.M. on Fridays. Exchange
bureaus are open in Montego Bay and Kingston
airports for all international flight arrivals and departures. CLIMATE The trade winds and mountain breezes keep the temperature pleasant year round. CLOTHING Packing light is the order of the day and casual is always appropriate. Depending on the length of stay, you may want to have shorts and t-shirts laundered for re-use. Light weight cotton pants and a long sleeve shirt will keep you very comfortable during a cool evening. Summer dresses are light in weight and pack easily. Sarongs are available at the craft market. Footwear should include
tennis or walking shoes, sandals and water socks. COMMUNICATION Telex,
facsimile,
cable,
radio,
television, and
telephone are available. There are three daily
newspapers, two morning and one evening. Communication at Coral Cove Resort is cellular
phone service and calling cards are available. We we also have recently added high-speed
wireless internet throughout the property. A
computer is also available for your use. CREDIT CARDS Major credit cards are accepted in Jamaica. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Citizens of the United States of America and Canada do not require a visa to go to Jamaica as tourists, and are permitted to visit the island for a period not exceeding six months. Citizens, sixteen years and older of these countries may use the following documents for entry: valid passport (or passport which has expired for a period not exceeding one year), or an original birth certificate (with raised seal) along with a photo l.D. (documents must bare the same name). Residents may use an alien registration card, however some residents may require a visa. Press personnel on assignment will require a work permit. (Contact a JTB
office near you). Additionally, all visitors are required to travel with a round
trip or onward airline
ticket for entry into Jamaica. U.K. Commonwealth citizens need passport (no visa required). All other countries, please contact the JTB
office near you for requirements. Japan: Passport required. (Visa required for stay of over 30 days). PASSPORT UPDATE: On Jan. 1st, 2007 U.S. residents will need a passport to leave and re-enter the United States due to changes in U.S. entry requirements. A raised seal birth certificate will no longer be valid for entry or departure from the U.S. so we encourage to apply for a passport at this time if you are planning on taking a vacation in early 2007!
HEALTH No vaccinations required unless you have visited the following countries within the past six weeks: Gambia, Ghana, Sudan, Nigeria, Zaire, Burkina Faso, Trinidad Tobago, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, Haiti, South America. (Please check with the Jamaican Consulate near you). LANGUAGE The official language of Jamaica is English, but the Jamaican Patois - a combination of several languages - is spoken throughout the island. MEDICAL FACILITIES There are facilities in all major resort areas as well as drug stores that provide pharmaceuticals. SHOPPING Crafts Market-wood, straw, beads, embroidery. Gold, silver, china, electronic equipment, rum, liqueur, perfumes, and Blue Mountain
Coffee. TAX-FREE STATUS Due to a tax treaty between the United States and the Jamaican Government made in December, 1981, all expenses incurred for holding a
meeting or
convention in Jamaica are tax deductible. TIME ZONE Eastern Standard Time, Jamaica does not observe Daylight Savings Time. WATER All drinking water in Jamaica is purified and filtered by the most modern methods. A nearby water bottling plant supplies the bottled water and ice for Coral Cove.
