telephone and telefax facilities for our guests as well as E-mail and
internet access. It is also possible to use your
PC from your
room.
Wireless is available throughout the hotel, please contact the Front
Desk for the password. Can be arranged at the hotel. A current driving licence is required to obtain a Grenadian licence which is issued at a cost of EC$30. The car hire with collision waiver insurance is approximately EC$180 or US$70 per day. Superior personal attention; a staff ratio to guests of more than one to one.

Dinner for children under the age of 6 years old served in
restaurant between 6.00 and 7.00 pm. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed in the

restaurant after 7.00 pm.
Baby sitters are available. 10 nights at Christmas New Year and 7 nights 15th January to 15th March. Who have stayed at Calabash within the last three years and have not booked a special value package, will receive a 10% discount off their food and beverage account, which will be credited locally and based on Calabash menu prices. For winter reservations a 7 night deposit or 50% of total booking is required. For summer reservations a 3 night deposit of total booking is required. For direct bookings the deposit for the package booked will be forfeited if the reservation is cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival in winter or 15 days in summer. We recommend guests take out travel insurance to include possible loss of deposit. Early check out will result in deposit being applied to any cancelled nights. Wake up to the mouth-watering aroma of your
breakfast choice being prepared by your maid. Choose from a menu which includes a tasty full English
breakfast or simply a selection of delicious tropical fruits and freshly baked bread. A morning stroll along Prickly Bay or a swim in the sea will aid the digestion before lounging in comfort on the beach, where a complimentary fresh fruit punch or slices of tropical fruit will be served to you at around 11 am. If you decide to stay put at the Calabash, Barnes Beach
Bar is only a few paces from the sun loungers. Here you can enjoy an iced cold
drink before
lunch, and then savour a light snack or the catch of the day from an enticing menu. For a more active afternoon partake in some Scuba Diving or try the non-motorised watersports available from the beach
windsurfers, sailboats, kayaks and snorkelling. And as the afternoon cools a
game of
tennis is ideal. Enjoy the traditional afternoon
tea, complimentary to our residents, served in the
lounge bar between 3pm and 5pm. This is a great chance to take in the views of the picturesque
gardens and meet some of your fellow guests. While our
kitchen staff prepare the evening meal complimentary canaps are delivered to your
room, the perfect accompaniment to a
cocktail on your
terrace or perhaps whilst you are relaxing in your private
whirlpool bath or plunge
pool! When you are ready to step out for the evening the
lounge bar is just a short distance from your
suite. Enjoy an aperitif while you decide on this evenings gourmet dining experience at a Rhodes
Restaurant. After

coffee and after
dinner drinks in the
lounge bar where evening entertainment is regularly provided during high season.
The Calabash Accommodation. The Calabash has thirty
suites arranged in a horseshoe within either acres of tropical
gardens. The
suites are divided into 4 main categories: Westside,
Whirlpool, Superior
Whirlpool and
Pool. All have
balconies or patios where
breakfast is served by your own personal maid. All
suites have
air conditioning, ceiling fans,
showers,
whirlpool baths,
hair dryers,
CD player,
TV's and DVD players,clock
radios,
iron ironing boards,
lounge area,
patio or
balcony,
mini bars, wall
safes and
tea and

Tour covering nutmeg products, Fort Frederick, Morne Jaloux ridge, Grenada rum factory and Arawak Islands spices perfumes. Seven Sisters Rainforest Walk 1.5 hours. A delightful walk around Grand Etang National park. Cool and away from the crowds! Grenada in a nutshell Full Island
tour 8 Hours. This includes views, history, spices, and
lunch at a plantation house and beach time. Whale Watching 4 hours. See Sperm and Pilot whales and get acquainted with the friendly dolphins. The Boat
trip includes
drinks and sandwiches on board. Grenadines fly and sail cruise 8 hours. See the fabulous Grenadines by air on a panoramic 25-minute flight. Sail on the Schooner Scaramouche to the Tobago Cays: 5 uninhabited Islands, palm fringed white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and wonderful snorkelling. TV: a riot of flowering shrubs and trees. South Coast Sailing - 4 or 7 hours. Enjoy the
beauty of Grenada's south coast from a luxury yacht, with delicious food,
drinks and stops for snorkelling. Market and falls
tour 5 hours. Experience Country life. Drive through lush mountains to colourful Grenville market on the Atlantic coast. Be adventurous and taste some of the wide variety of local fruits and dishes on sale. See Marquis falls, one of the highest on the Island, stop for a swim on the way home at the parish of St. David's. Carriacou
Tour 8 hours. Visit the sister island of Carriacou, it has fine beaches, good snorkelling and views to many other small islands. Fish commonly caught in the waters around the Island are: Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Yellow fin Tuna, Barracuda and Jacks. Half and full day charters are available. Large Leatherback Turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. As an endangered species there are local groups which are trying to preserve these beautiful creatures from extinction. Take a thrilling ride down the Balthazar river surrounded by wooded hills and exotic flora and fauna. Drive to Gouyave and experience the taste of fish,shrimp and lobster prepared on the spot.
