Welcome to The Canders House Bed and Breakfast in Greenville Maine. ABOUT THE BED AND BREAKFAST. Described as a miniature mansion, this bed and breakfast has the fine detail found only in houses of yesteryear. Nine-foot ceilings, elegant lighting fixtures and Monson slate are just a few of the touches youll be sure to appreciate. Our living room, with its corner fireplace, is a great place to relax after touring the Moosehead Lake Region. The sun porch is a favorite gathering spot in the morning. Guests frequently relax before breakfast with a cup of coffee and the latest copy of Greenvilles local newspaper, The Moosehead Messenger. ACCOMMODATIONS AND RATES. All rooms have private baths and TVs are furnished with great attention to detail and your comfort. Our single rooms are $100/night and our two-room suites are $160/night. These rates do not include Maine lodging tax. We serve complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings, but we know that not everyone is a breakfast person. So to add flexibility to your vacation plans, your breakfast plans are up to you. If you want to dine in, we will serve you a full, hot breakfast for additional $7.00 per person/per meal. You can have breakfast at the inn every day of your stay, one day or you can skip it altogether. Dishes our guests have enjoyed include blueberry and spice pancakes, quiche, hearty sausage and biscuits with gravy, rhubarb cake, maple cream coffee tart and blueberry coffee cake. Check-in is 1:00 pm Check-out is 11:00 am. VISA and MASTERCARD accepted. Green Room: Featuring Great Aunt Helens hats and quilts, this room has a queen size bed and private bath, with tub and shower. Yellow Room: Our most popular room, the full and twin-size wrought-iron beds with antique bed lamps and chenille bedspreads offer a touch of nostalgia. This room has a private bath with shower. Blue Room: This room has a traditional dcor with queen-size cherry sleigh bed and private bath with shower. Tan Room: An eclectic mix of wood and wrought iron, this room has a queen-size sleigh bed and private bath and shower. Blue and Tan Rooms or Tan and Yellow Rooms are available as Two-room Suites with private bath.

And, the 100-mile woods section of the Appalachian Trail cuts through the area just south of Greenville. Swimming The beach is less than 200 yards from us and walking trails to the beach are right outside our door. Welcome to the Canders Cottage, a waterfront cottage in Rockwood, Maine. Located directly on the shore of Moose River in Rockwood, Maine, our waterfront cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with claw foot tub and shower, hot water heater, fully furnished living room and dining area with thermostat controlled heating system, and bedroom with a queen sized bed. We provide all eating and cooking utensils as well as towels, linens and pillows. We have a private dock for your canoe, kayak or small motor boat. You can enjoy swimming, boating and trout or salmon fishing right outside your door. $100/night - $600/week (for 2 people). Rates do not included Maine lodging tax. Minimum 2-night stay required.
