The spacious, car-free site on the grounds of an old farm, situated right in the middle of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park, invites children and parents to explore both our huge indoor playground (our Fairy Tale Castle with more than 1,000m² on two levels!) and the outdoor playground (more than 8 hectares – that is bigger than twelve football fields!). To spend your holidays at the Appelhof means: All inclusive! And that is true of the Appelhof both in winter (from building an igloo, to tubing on the sledge slope, to the Diaper Ski School starting from three years of age and up) and in summer (riding on a pony, camp-fire romance, the mice festival, a river crossing, learning conjuring tricks, and so on, and so on…) How to really love a child” is a demand, which the Appelhof together with Milan wants to do justice to – starting from the guest’s arrival to departure.

An extensive wellness area invites one to relaxation and well-being. Ambitious sporting types can express their enthusiasm playing soccer, volleyball, and basketball in the gymnasium. Also, the indoor climbing wall and Degi`s Adventure School do not give rise to boredom. The Mürzer Oberland National Park, which surrounds the Appelhof, invites one to beautiful hiking tours. The Appelhof is situated directly along the Alpentour! Appelhof in winter offers snow and fun for the whole family, directly at the hotel site and in the Ski Resort Niederalpl. And if some day you need some time for yourself without having your children around, they will be taken care of in our Children’s Club Appelwurm by trained kindergarten teachers who offer a varied programme daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Would you like to be creative yourself? Of course, our animation and sports programme for persons older than 7 is also available to you. For the times, when your children are asleep and you do not want to stay in your room, there is the baby surveillance system. We have equipped our new hotel hall with a business corner. Children’s Club Appelwurm. For little people from 0 to 7 years of age with a new programme daily and a lot of space for dancing, singing, doing handicrafts, and playing. For children older than 7, we offer a varied animation programme in the gymnasium, outdoors or in the Castle. Degi's Adventure School, for people older than 7, provides new experiences in our adventure land and in addition, you can also find our outdoor playground 80,000 m² with a trampoline facility with ten trampolines, a giant pirate ship, a cableway, electric cars, a climbing wall, the Pit-Pat facility, a petting zoo our Indoor Playground a 1,000 m² Fairy Tale Castle with a softplay playground on two levels, a billiard table, Playstation consoles, a pyramid with a racingcar center and a space room, swings, a ball house, a slide, etc.
