We are about 15 - 20 minutes from the airport, bus station and train stations and it is easy to get a tuk tuk or to our front door. The airport taxi service operates from the domestic and international terminal and the flat rate to Seven Suns as of May 2007 was 120 baht - mental note to self - tipping is not expected but is appreciated and is commonly 20 baht on trips and meals pretty much regardless of the total cost of the trip / meal! The trip from the train and / or bus station ranges from 100-150 baht. Negotiate your price and bargain down to an acceptable compromise! I have served fruit shakes instead of fruit plates, sometimes we dont have sun-dried tomatoes for the penne, and we had to change the name of the breakfast bagel to the breakfast recession do you know how confusing bagel and bacon are?? We always try to please you and we know sometimes we may come up short cause there is only so much any of us can do. Sometimes our credit card machine does not work, sometimes the ac is not the best, sometimes we miss a light that needs to be fixed, sometimes the showers are cold. Dont let it go un-noticed tell us if we can fix it we will or make an alternative arrangement that works for you! Keep us on our toes and tell us where our weaknesses are help us to help you more!! An amazing guesthouse, what you see in the picture is what you get. The rooms are spotless and very well lit. Included is satelite tv, and your own toilet/shower. The staff are incredibly helpful and the tour company they use exceptional. All of the guides speak English and do not try to sell you on anything. The food at the restaurant is very good, the breakfast especially tasty and a very good price. The beds are comfortable and it is centrally located (within walking distance of Muay Thai ring and all of the night markets)... right in the middle of the old city (this is where you want to be). The beds are comfortable as well... I have travelled a great deal and as a place to stay as a couple, you can't get a better deal. A peaceful place to stay. Rooms lovely - excellent pristine sheets and enormous double beds, and cleanliness excellent. Some of the rooms are theme-decorated (mine had a Hello Kitty theme!) which is worth asking for, if you like that kind of thing. Personally I loved it! It's a bit of a walk to the action but OK if you like a bit of a stroll. Very nice staff, went out of there way to accommodate us even when we came early in the morning from an overnight trip.
