Walking from Woodley Park/Adams-Morgan Metro Station to Adam's Inn. Take the escalator or elevator to the street level. As you exit the elevator or escalator, turn right on Connecticut Ave. and walk one block (you will pass a row of restaurants) to the light at Calvert St. Turn left on Calvert St. and walk over the Duke Ellington Bridge. Continue 2 blocks to the Exxon gas station where Calvert St. intersects with Adams Mill Rd. and Lanier Place. Make a left onto Lanier Place. Walk down Lanier Place and look for Adam's Inn halfway down the first block on the right side (across from the fire station.). From 495 (the Washington Beltway), get off at Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue) and head south for approximately 8 miles until you reach the intersection of Connecticut and Calvert Streets (you will be in the neighborhood called Woodley Park) Turn left at the light onto Calvert Street. At the third light, turn left onto Columbia Road. Drive two blocks and then turn left onto Ontario Road. Make your first left onto Lanier Place. Adam's Inn will be on the left side, midway down the block at l746 Lanier Place (across the street from the fire station). From 395 heading North, as you approach Washington, DC and cross over the Potomac River, stay in your left lane as you cross the Potomac River. This will keep you in the correct lanes to take you across the l4th Street Bridge and put you on l4th Street near the Washington Monument. Travel North on l4th Street to K Street. Bear left onto K Street. After 4 blocks, get into the right turn access lane. After one block, turn right onto Connecticut Avenue. Follow Connecticut Avenue North and go in tunnel under Dupont Circle. Upon exiting the tunnel, continue on Connecticut Avenue about a mile until you reach Calvert Street. Make a right turn onto Calvert Street and travel about 5 blocks until you reach Columbia Road. Turn left onto Columbia Road and drive two blocks until you come to Ontario Road. POLICIES RESERVATIONS. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club. Cash and travelers' checks are also accepted. All payments are due in full upon arrival. For your convenience, credit card payments will be pre-authorized for the length of your stay if payment cannot be made upon arrival. Notice of cancellation is required 72 hours prior to 9pm of your scheduled day of arrival. Cancellation of your entire reservation or any part of your reservation after that date will result in a charge to your credit card for one nights stay plus tax for each room reserved. These terms also apply to early departure notifications. Further, guests reserving 2 to 6 rooms are required to provide notice of cancellation 7 days prior to 9pm of their scheduled day of arrival. Groups reserving more than 6 rooms are required to provide notice of cancellation 6 weeks prior to their scheduled day of arrival. Any guest that fails to provide notice of cancellation will be charged for their entire reservation. 2-night minimum stay is required for Sat. night reservations. Check-in is between 3 pm and 9 pm, Monday-Saturday and between 3 pm and 7 pm on Sundays.If you anticipate a later check-in (after 9 pm, Monday-Saturday or after 7 pm on Sundays), please let us know so we can make the proper arrangements. You are welcome to check in earlier if your room is ready. If you arrive prior to 3 p.m. and your room is not ready, we will gladly hold your luggage for you. Check out is at 12:00 Noon. If you are catching a late afternoon or evening flight, we will store your luggage until 9 p.m. No pets, no smoking.
