Presentation House Darioli. The House Darioli was created in 1964 by Gaston Annie Darioli-Graven. Since 1989, it's owned by their daughter Marie-Therese Darioli. The property has been renovated recently and is located in the centre of Zermatt. Nearby you have the ski-school, the mountain guide office, sports and souvenir shops. The station and the cablecars are only a few minutes walk from the House.
The Restaurant - Grill-Room. The Grill Le Gitan. Rustic, cozy, candle light atmosphere with an open fireplace offers : grilled meat, chicken, fishes. The Zermatterstubli. Easy going, just a drink or something to eat. For example cheese fondue, (Sausage) Bratwurst with rosti or spaghetti.

The Arrival Guide. Zermatt is a motor car free place. If you arrive by car : From Zurich or Basel you take the motorway to Bern, Spiez, Kandersteg (there you charge your car on the train), Visp and then direction Zermatt. From Geneva or France you take the motorway to Lausanne, Sion, Sierre, Visp, then direction Zermatt. When you arrive at Tasch, last village before Zermatt, you have to park your car. You will find many public car parks and garages. To reach Zermatt from there, you can take the shuttle train (every twenty minutes) or the taxi service.
