Just a 10-minute walk from Karl Johan, Oslo's main street, you'll find Anker Hostel. With a bus stop, tram stop and taxi stand right outside the door. ARRIVING BY PLANE: It takes 20 minutes by Airport Express Train (www.flytoget.no) from Gardermoen Airport to the Central Train Station. You can also take the Airport bus (www.flybussen.no) If you arrive at Torp Airport there are busses to Oslo bus terminal (www.torp.no) ARRIVING BY TRAIN/BUS: From the square in front of the Central Station, take tram number 12, 13, 15, or bus number 30, 31, 32. Get off at Hausmannsgate stop just outside the hostel. Walking distance from the Central Station: 10 minutes. ARRIVING BY CAR: As you approach Oslo from the E18, follow signs for Gjovik (4). Take a left turn in the second traffic circle/roundabout. At the first traffic lights take a right turn onto Christian Krogh's street. Follow this street till the end - you'll see Anker Hotel Best Western straight ahead. The Hostel reception is located 20 m to the left of the hotel.
