This 200-years-old big building is a convivial place for family meetings, associations or schools. In the former stable, a 70m dining room welcomes your family meetings, your business dinners, a general meeting of your association and for other occasions. A meeting room is at your disposal too for about 30 people for business meetings, schools... About a maximum of 70 people can have dinner. In winter, you will enjoy the fireplace. You will have a fully equiped kitchen at your disposalto cook your meals. After cooking, the second passion of Mauricette is decoration. You will admire her talent in all the rooms.. The gite can accomodate for a week-end or a week more than twenty people in dormitories and independant bedrooms with warm colours. If you are more people, you can also rent the bedrooms (BB).. Enjoy a trip along the river Vgre... Small boats, canoe, fishing. And enjoy doing sport in the countryside. Volleyball, table tennis, football table. Walk, ride in a horse-drawn caravan. Or in horse-drawn caravan... (ride in horse-drawn caravan are organised by the company Locattelage on booking)

This pretty farm surrounded by a small river is not only a welcoming place for tourists but also for free-range chicken Lou and for sheeps, that graze in the green meadows. Farming of free frange chicken Lou. Story of la Tuffire... Before accomodating tourists, the building, now dedicated to the gite and B B, was stables and milking room for dairy cows, that Mauricette and Yves bred since their setting up in La Tuffire in 1976. Then, the time of milky quotas came and Mauricette jumped at the opportunity to stop this activity that was not really for her a fascinating job. After a few years, as green tourism emerged, Mauricette and Yves decided to turn this big building into a gite and a BB. Farming of free-range chicken Lou. Since 1976 Mauricette and Yves also farm the famous (in France) free-range chicken Lou. These chicken run everyday outside in green meadows and eat only cereals (without GMO). Therefore their taste is delicious and if you have dinner at Mauricette and Yves ' table you will be convinced. In fields around the gite, you see chicken, guinea fowls or other poultry that run freely. Yves will enjoy doing a guided tour of his farm and will take time to explain you (in French, sorry!) the happy life of a chicken Lou. Then he will show you his sheeps that he breeds with loving care. You will perhaps have the chance to see him giving lambs feeding bottles.All the year sheeps graze freely in the meadows of the farm.
