All of our 14 well appointed double / twin bedrooms have recently been renovated. All have ensuite facilities and spectacular mountain views. The bedrooms are furnished in local timbers accompanied with Italian rattan funiture, wich gives them a warm and natural feel. The rooms can be used as singles and some can be converted to family rooms for three or four guests. Facilities: Shower or bath, wc (some with extra toilet), hair-dryer, cosmetic mirror, kleenex-dispenser, soap and shampoo-dispenser; balcony or loggia, satellite TV, phone, clock radio, safe and minibar (fridge), wireless-lan. Some rooms can be interconnected (families!) You can specify smoker and non-smoker rooms! We also offer rooms for persons suffering from an allergy (dust, pollen etc.)!

Activities and Recreation. Enjoy a multitude of different activities, spend your days in an adventurous or relaxing manner! Take an extensive sun bath in our park, take a swim in the pool, play water polo, table tennis, badminton, darts or chess, whatever your mood is. If the sun should hide for a little while - no problem at all. We ll warm up the sauna and in between you can have a relaxing massage, enjoy beauty care or the solarium. During winter the sauna is open every day, imagine, what could be more enjoyable after sweating, than to jump into the deep powder snow! During summer we weekly organize hiking tours, often we arrange exciting rafting or jet-boat cruises on the rivers Enns or Salzach, also moutainbike and bicycle tours nearby. During the cold season the hotel programme includes cross-country-skiing-tours, snow-shoeing, night skiing or tobogganing and romantic evening walks, whatever you prefer. Our hotel is situated next to the cross-country tracks (approx. 150 km classical and 80 km skating tracks!), the nearest skirun for alpine skiing is about a 5 minutes drive away. Last but not least we do care about your entertainment! Regularily we organize live music (traditional, popular) or colour-slide-shows. Also we arrange visits to local events (cultural, sports etc.). Ramsau am Dachstein / The Source of Your Strength. Discover the jewel beneath the Dachstein! Ramsau am Dachstein is one of the largest elevated plains of Central Europe and its size is roughly 18 km x 4 km. It is a plateau similar to a natural reserve and lies in the south of the Dachstein (2995 m) and, resembling a balcony, it is located high above the valley of the river Enns. It is the unique beauty of the landscape combined with an enormous range of possibilities in the fields of leisure, sports and entertainment that makes Ramsau such a special place. It could be described as a holiday resort on three storeys: from 1000m up to 1200m you find the plateau, from 1700m up to 1900m there are the Ramsau alpine pastures and on the very top from 2700m up to 3000m there is the Dachstein Glacier and the Hohe Dachstein, the highest mountain of Styria. In Ramsau you find a long tradition of hospitality. As early as the mid-19th century the plateau beneath the Dachstein has attracted tourists. Today the place provides accomodation for about 7000 visitors. The latest highlight in the chronicle of the mountain village was the Nordic Ski World Championship in February 1999.
