The Patio of columns, the fountain, the 16th century mosaic tiles, the background settings of water and plants, makes this a haven for reading or enjoying a good snack. In other corners the Gallery, numerous paintings and tapestries from Brussels and of Aubusson, decorates various atmospheres. Like the Roman pools, the palaces fountain-Pool models traces of the renaissance so spread out in the 16th century Seville. It is dedicated to the visit of Felipe V to the Village of Cazalla in 1730. Besides the beauty of its design surrounding the grand Central Patio with sounds of waterfall, it adds its function as swimming pool of San Benito. A unique scene, designed to sun bathe under historic surroundings and beauty. Surrounding the central patio of San Benito the Gallery apears, like the Hotel Lobby, with its grand hall windows. Numerous paintings and tapestries from Brussels and of Aubusson adorn different atmospheres, all of them showered by the sunlight coming through the large draped windows. The Hotels lounge is the Library, with a magnificent chimney in #x201C;Carrara#x201D; marble from the II Imperial epoch, a salon that remembers the atmosphere of the Victorians of the 19th century. Epoch furnishings crafted of mahogany, mirror, television, video, CD DVD like a technological counterpoint, convert this space into a cosy room making it ideal for relaxed reading or a pleasant chat. The small bar is a quaint space emphasizing the unique ceiling of Mudejar style in laceria. A tile originating from a bar of the nearby town of Guadalcanal, named Bar Cazalla. The Bar has a small terrace next to the fountain pool. The bar area has a sunny terrace next to the Fountain-Pool. From here we are able to see the small Bullring and the country fields of Cazalla, with its Mudejar orchards, still today cultivated with plows pulled by mules, popular postcard images only seen in these lands, as well as the use of donkeys for the transport of olives and cork. From the Music Room or from the Gallery we enter the Lodge, the place where breakfasts and dinners feel like eternity under the attentive watch of the gravestone, reminiscence of the finished works in 1576. A light wood gold finished baroque rosette dominates the room. The Hall area is from where you enter Palace. Familiar portraits preside over the area, the most noticeable is of its Excellence Mr. Don Manuel Maria de Morales and Molas, Governor of Seville when the April Fair was founded, asigned Lieutenants to his office where the gentlemen Bonaplata and Ibarra. An original receipt for the rights to a stand at the fair, currently conserves its forth grandson and proprietor. This space connects with the Music room, the Dining room and the Lodge. The magnificent collection of Spanish ceramics mixed with 19th century English dishes. Two portraits set over splendid chimneys and two mahogany tables of enormous proportions are accompanied by 18th century English chairs. All this, dressed in ajuar of top quality, makes this an ideal setting for private meals, banquets or conferences, under the direction our Maitre Manuel Gonzalez and the high standard quality Kitchen of our Chef Carmen Infante. The Music Room is dedicated to the family Jodar. The parents to the first Jodar were members of the Royal House of Leon. His older son was Don Sancho Martinez de Jodar, first Military Governer of Andalusia and founder of the family name. Angel Branches, with the collaboration of Clary Sanchez de Moya, has created the decorative paintings. Furniture of different origins and great value, pictures of family and one magnific Erad piano, complete the accessability to large Dome of Martin de Gainza and its grand stairways covered with 16th century tiles. The Palace Chapel is attributed to the Faith of its owners. It presides over a magnificent altar, of Sevillian Rococo style, with a gorgeous image of the Virgen de Carmen. There you will find the original sketch of the Santo Christo de Jodar, the the 16th century Virgen de La Paz, as well as the 16th century Santisimo Christo de Mata, in memory of the homonymy that is in the family property Mayorazgo, in the village of Bormujos. Habitacion de la Reina. The Room of the Queen is the junior one of the hotel. It communicates with the Habitacion Del Rey so can become a comfortable suite. Of special mention is the 18th century Altar piece, silver plated and polychromed, as well as 17th and 18th century engravings. The Blue Room features a canopy bed of family tradition, richly dressed with Toile de Jovie original and wrapped with a marvelous collection of Pompeian and English engravings, as well as various drawings. Through a beautiful 19th century wrought-iron gate you can access a small but intimate garden. A magnificent 18th century embroidered carpet acts as a headboard tapestry. Hanging from the walls a collection of lithoghraps, representing different styles of carriages. From this room you have views to the village Bull Ring. The rooms of Frederick, El Infante, El Militar and Los Novios, in the lower floor, connect with a small private garden. A pleasant space for relaxing or chating among the vegetation and the murmur of a small fountain. Habitacion del Infante. The Room of the Infante is a very romantic one. It is illuminated by two large windows that open to private garden, with a marble fountain and a sublime combination of plants. A female protrait signed by Escribano shares the space with 19th century English and French lithoghraps. Habitacion del Militar. Room of the Military Man. An old portrait of a hero in the Battle of Bailen (1808) names this room. It is also decorated by a beautiful collection of 19th century Japanese Art with lacquered frames. Like the other rooms on the ground floor, this one also has access to a small private garden. Habitacion de los Novios. The Room of the Newly-weds is the most spacious one. The headboard comes from a baroque altar, with mirrors and a frame lacquered in red. A charming corner, from where the light is scattered into the room, makes it the perfect space for chatting or reading while lain down on a gorgeous edwardian ottoman. The atmosphere will invite you to never leave, while you witness how daylight vanishes smoothly in the evening, entering from an intimate patio with a whispering fountain. Palacio de San Benito is situated in the beautiful village of Cazalla de la Sierra, within the northern mountain range of the Province of Seville - Well known as Sierra Norte - only 75Km away from the Andalusian capital. This village is located at 593 meters above sea level. It has an extension of 353.2 km2 and a population of 5,263 inhabitants. Its principal activities of production are breeding farms, pork wool, manufacturing of cork, the Anis liqueur and Rural Tourism. Spread throughout its municipal quarters of natural enchantment are, its outstanding Roibera del Hueznar, where there are reserves for trout fishing, the Pantano de Pintado, the rio Viar or la Ribera del Benalijar. Also count on many reserves for sport and big game hunting. Cazalla de la Sierra has always been a first order urban center. The nearby caves of Santiago are witness to its Neolithic period, followed by Roman Calletum over a Cartagenese fortification and the Muslim Cazala. It was conquered by the Christians in 1247, reaching its splendor in the 16th and 17th centuries, when cereal, wines and liqueur multiplied its importance and population. Hunting The natural surroundings where Cazalla de la Sierra is situated, in the heart of Sevillian Sierra Morena and surrounded by large reserves of game, permits the visitors to have the hunting estates at a maximum distance of one hour from the hotel. The principal offers that this establishment gives to its clients are Monteria and Rececho, the oldest and most traditional forms of big game hunting in Spain. Monteria is the oldest and most traditional of our forms of hunting, unique in the world, where every hunter, at some time, have dreamed of participating. The animals that can be hunted in this area are primarily venison and javelin, although there are reserves where you can also hunt for fallow deers and muflones. The range of prices is very wide, ranging in between 180 and 4,200 depending in the quality and quantity of animal to be hunted. For the javelin, we organize night watch sessions.
