Cafe Bifrost the
breakfast is served between 08:00-10:00. All

Bifrost is one of Icelands most dramatic guesthouse settings, surrounded by bizarre 3000 year old lava fields and several volcanoes, located by the main Ring road; about 25 minutes drive north of Borgarnes. Bifrost is a natural choice for hikers, hill-walkers, mountain bikers and nature lovers. Nearby is a small forest, the beautiful lake Hreoavatn, ideal for trout fishing, and the waterfall Glanni where you can see salmon springing upriver. Climbing the volcano crater Grabrok is recommended, offering a wonderful view. Bifrost can be reached every day by scheduled bus from Reykjavik. Snafellsnes is not far away and indeed it is interesting to visit historic sites, like Reykholt.
May 2008 Company of the year survey 2008: Fosshotels in 5th place. Ayurveda masseuse and a classical indian dancer. Her english is very good and everyone is welcome to come and join her in our yoga- and wellness programs at Fosshotel Reykholt. With Aanika you can learn indian Bollywood moves, which are swinging hand- and hip moves. Aanika is not only teaching yoga postures but also the psychological, mental and emotional factors in the practice of yoga. At the hotel you can find outside hot

rooms. The French baron named C.Gouldree-Boilleau moved to Reykjavik in the year 1898 and founded the first dairy farm in Iceland that had the main purpose to sell milk. He became a pioneer in that field. His farm was called The Baron-dairy farm and both Baronsstigur, the street, and Fosshotel Baron are named after the French baron. This is a preserved building and the

tours in April 20th, which is a little sooner than in the past few years. From April - June there will be one
trip each day at 13:30 but in early June, there will be added more
trips to the schedule and up to 11
trips per day during July and August. The first whales are seen by the coasts of Iceland in the spring, when they coming looking for food. It will be exciting to see what species will be the first to arrive this year. Through the years, minke whales and white-beaked dolphins have been the most common species in the first period but humpback whales have also been seen. Hopefully, conditions for birds and whales as well as travellers will be at their best this summer and Fosshotel Husavik and Nordur-sigling look forward to welcoming their guests.
