Golf an all-year-round activity here at Torekov. Skne is the promised land as far as golf is concerned, and nowhere is more renowned for its golf facilities than Torekov. Quite apart from the fact that the courses are of top quality here, the season is also a fair bit longer than in, say, Stockholm. There are loads of top quality courses in the region, and if you don't manage to get onto a course here in Torekov, there are plenty of others for you to try. We also arrange golfing packages which include accommodation and time on the course at Bjre Golf Club, for example, and we can also help out with advice on the various courses locally. Spa yourself at Torekov Warmbadhus. The Spa Torekov Warmbadhus is famour for its seaweed treatments, but the also offer numerous other baths, masks, scrubs and wraps. The gel that the seaweed is transformed into is filled with good things for your skin and body, such as vitamin E (makes your skin softer) and vitamin A (good for cell production). Massage, salt water peeling and herb baths are other specialities at their Spa menu. We offer you packages with booked times at the spa and lodging in our cottages or at the campground. Please contact the reception by mail or give us a call, +46 431 36 45 25.
Activities at First Camp Torekov and absolute surroundings. Nobody travels all the way to a cottage or sets up a caravan or tent just to stay inside it, surely? People want to meet new people, spend time with their family and friends, experience new things and have a good time. Luckily there are loads of things to do here in Torekov, so we reckon we can promise you a fun-packed stay with us! Find out more here about the activities. And of course, we have play areas at our campsite. We have a few big ones, actually, offering a range of activities: a massive bouncy castle, aerial runways, climbing frames, sandpits and lots more besides. We even have an indoor playroom in case of inclement weather, and our play supervisors (activity leaders) can often be found there. Our bike hire facility is very popular, and it's safest to book in advance if you want to be sure of getting a bike. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit in the region, and we also have a limited number of child seats and cycling helmets for the little ones. Just outside the outdoor part of Restaurang Strandparken is our minicar track, where all the youngest members of the family can drive our electric cars for a small fee. This is incredibly popular mummy and daddy can have a cold drink or a cup of coffee while the little ones ride on the cars. Something for everyone! Football is a summer sport, and Helsingborg headed by Stuart Baxter is tipped to be one of the hot favourites to win the Lennart Johansson cup. HIF's list of fixtures is. Boules never seems to go out of fashion. Maybe it's because it's a good game for everyone to play kids, adults, pensioners. We have a pitch in Torekov which is free for use, and boules are available to hire from reception. There are plenty of great places to swim in Torekov: jump in the water from our own jetty or from the beach, or bathe in crystal-clear waters at Hallands Vder. But Torekov's bathing traditions do actually go a lot further back than that: The Warmbadhus spa in Torekov offers special seaweed bathing, and the famous bathrobe mafia, involving dignitaries from Swedish trade and industry, meets in Torekov.

A few words about the campsite of First Camp Torekov. Here at First Camp Torekov the biggest campsite in Skne, incidentally we have 500 camping pitches and three large service blocks. About 25% of our pitches are occupied by seasonal guests, and then we also have lots of people who've opted to rent a pre- or post-season pitch from us. Most of the visitors to Torekov comment on the amazing countryside here. There are hundreds of beautiful trees here, lush and verdant. Hallands Vder, just outside Torekov, is also famous because it's a place where lots of unique Swedish plants grow. First Camp Torekov is a quiet, pleasant place where children often cycle up to the shop themselves to buy warm rolls in the morning, and many people talk a walk up to Restaurang Strandparken as evening approaches so that they can get something nice to eat or just watch everyone playing Crazy Golf in Strandparken.
Bstad the nearest Sweden gets to the French Riviera. The West Coast may have longer sandy beaches, but if we're talking star quality, top class events and attractive activities, then Bstad is most certainly Sweden's answer to Saint Tropez or Cannes. Tennis Week, with its hoards of jetsetters and football pros, is maybe the climax of this every summer. But there are loads of other things going on in Bstad throughout the rest of the summer, too Restaurant Week, Rhapsody in Rock and Digiloo, the Harbour Festival, the Kalle Anka Cup, and so on. We have art exhibitions, golf tournaments and suchlike here every day. We provide handy hints on activities in both Torekov and Bstad on our own website here, but if you'd like to know more then we can certainly recommend. a site brimming with suggestions for places to visit and things to do.
Torekov an idyll without equal. Torekov is an old fishing hamlet dating back to the Middle Ages. Nowadays, though, it's a charming and beautiful little cobblestoned village offering a range of restaurants (mainly in summer) and heaps of atmosphere. You can catch the ferry to Hallands Vder here, and this is also the home of events like Hamnfesten (the Harbour Festival) and Restaurant Week. Torekov have a number of restaurants, of which quite a few are famous for there excellent food. Don't miss to try out at least one of our local specialities, like herring with fresh potatoes and snaps, or the asparangus if it's season for that.
Hallands Vadero (the weather island of Halland). The tennis week of Bastad. Torekov and the Bjre peninsula. Once you've made it all the way to Torekov, there's no real reason to search elsewhere. Torekov is a wonderful place, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of things to see and do. You'll find quite a few superb restaurants in Torekov, there are several golf courses and other activities within close reach, and there are lots of interesting and beautiful places to visit. Take a look at the pages listed in the menu on the left to find out more.
Skne the entry way from Europe. Skne is anything but ordinary, if the region's own marketing is to be believed. A lot of people probably associate Skne with good food and quality of life, and quite rightly so. Maybe this is due in part to the influence of our view of Denmark as a nation of bons vivants, and the fact that this attitude is catching! Skne has so much to offer, and that's sometimes why it's so hard to sum up Skne in just a few words. Helsingborg, with its football and its close proximity to Helsingr; Malm, as the capital of the region and with Copenhagen on its doorstep; Kristianstad and its eel parties; sterlen with its art and Kiviks market; Bjre with its golf, the Swedish Open and breathtaking scenery; Kullabygden with its diving, climbing and Hgans ceramics there are so many things to see and do here that you really need a couple of weeks every year just to keep a handle on what's going on in Skne! We hope our site will at least arouse your curiosity, and that you'll include a visit to us here at Torekov in your plans. Welcome!
Things to do at the resort. Map over First Camp Torekov. Now you're one step nearer a true gem! Torekov is situated 15 km to the south-west of Bstad, on the beach of the Kattegatt, with views across the sea and to Hallands Vder. Torekov is an old fishing hamlet, famous for its Warmbadhus spa and many top quality restaurants. Our site has been known under the name KronoCamping Torekov for many years now, but we're now changing our brand as a result of our partnership with the First Camp group so from now on we'll be known as First Camp Torekov. First Camp is Sweden's biggest chain of campsites and holiday villages, and we're really pleased to help out with developing the industry as a whole, as well as what we offer to all our guests. Our website is completely new, and we hope it'll help you to find more of the information you require. On this site, you'll find lots of information on the campsite, our cottages, the activities on offer and Torekov itself and its surrounding area. You can also choose to submit a booking enquiry.
Bjre concentrated Skne. First Camp Torekov Bstad is the name of our site. Because we're located in Torekov, which in its turn is situated in the municipality of Bstad. But it wouldn't really have been incorrect to call ourselves First Camp Torekov Bjre either, because the Bjre Peninsula is the name of the part of Skne where Torekov is situated. People do say sometimes that it wouldn't actually have been all that bad an idea to rename to municipality to Bjre (or Bjre Peninsula). But no matter what it's known as, Bjre is a fantastic part of Skne and Sweden. We have beautiful countryside here (Hallands Vder, with masses of unique plants, is just outside Torekov there are daily boat trips for visitors), loads of excellent food (even the little village of Torekov has about 10 decent restaurants to its name), and plenty of things to see and do. So if Skne is all about the good life, Bjre can certainly be given the title of Heart of Skne.
