The house was built 1903 by the building contractor S A Johansson as five block flat. Sven Gratz (arkitekt 1864-1930) designed the house in Jugend style. The front is in yellow brickstones probably from Skane or Denmark. Hotel Continental is operated by Jeanette Nerman and Jenny Bansch Larsson. They bought the business in 1992 and has since then combined modern design with the beutifull building and atmosphere from the turn of the century. The 46 hotelrooms are constantly refurnished and has a high quality so that the guests can get the best posible comfort.
