Ricordeau was created in 1870. It was formerly a renowned coaching inn, where carriages visiting this peaceful village would stop for the night. Some time later, the post house became a nationally famous hotel-restaurant. Loue was a favorite stopping place for travelers from Paris to Brittany. Mr. and Mrs. Herman took over the establishment four years ago and offer guests a completely refurbished hotel on two floors, with bathrooms equipped with hairdryers and television with Eurosport, Canal Plus and an English and a German TV channel.
