The Chateau de Rochecotte in Saint-Patrice, former residence of the Duchesse de Dino is built along the hillside, on a large terrace that opens onto a vast park overlooking the Loire Valley. The Prince de Talleyrand spent enjoyable days at Rochecotte with his niece the Duchesse de Dino with whom he formed a real family...

At Talleyrands death, in 1838, the Duchesse de Dino, as she promised herself, transformed his bedroom at Rochecotte into a chapel; an alter with a mounted replica of the Saint-Sixte Madonna is in place of the bed in the alcove. This oratory was blessed by Abbey Dupenloup on November 18, 1840. In the same empire style, the stables of the Chateau de Rochecotte dating back to the XVIIIth Century were listed a historic monument in 1948. The original stalls of that era can be seen today.
