It takes about 35 minutes to get to Marstrand from Goteborg by car, and just under an hour from Goteborg-Landvetter airport. From Goteborg you take the E6 towards Oslo and turn off on route 168 near Kungalv. You can park your car on Koon, since no cars are allowed on the island. As a guest of Villa Maritime you are entitled to use our free car park, which is situated about 800 metres from the ferry landing. During the period October;April there is also ample free parking closer to the ferry landing. If you are travelling by bus there is a service from the Nils Ericson terminal in Goteborg that takes you all the way to the ferry landing on Koon. The journey takes around an hour. The final stage to the island of Marstrand is by ferry, which departs every fifteen minutes and takes about two minutes. If you are travelling by car you can buy tickets at the kiosk or onboard.
