From this tranquil setting it is easy to find the treasures of the Heritage Coast, including the magnificent castle at Bamburgh, just two miles away. The Farne Islands, scene of the daring exploits of Victorian heroine Grace Darling, is reachable by boat from nearby Seahouses and the famous garden at Alnwick is just a short car journey away.
