Bilderberg has changed! Bilderberg presents the new Bilderberg! A lot has changed at Bilderberg. In recent months Bilderberg has positioned itselves as the leading brand for meetings and weekend get-aways in the Netherlands. Changes didnt happen overnight. Since the takeover of the company by Goldman Sachs and Westmont Hospitality in 2004, hotels no longer fitting the Bilderberg brand were sold, almost all of the remaining 18 hotels received a complete make-over as part of a 30 million renovation programme and a new hotel the stunning was added to the portfolio. To show the market that Bilderberg is back, a new, fresh, young and contemporary corporate identity was introduced in October 2006 accompanied by a large nationwide advertising campaign. New corporate identity A stay at Bilderberg however short not only means total pampering but meeting guests every need. To underline this claim, a new strap line was required. Following months of deliberation, during which time many were bandied about, the strap line. Why Settle For Less? was chosen. Indeed, why should anyone settle for less? Bilderberg Hotels Restaurants was replaced by simply Bilderberg. This deemed suitable as Bilderberg by itself is a concept, and will remain so. Even the new logo is clean cut and basic: understated, elegant black, with a stylishly minimalist orange crown. Less is definitely more. The new Bilderberg style can be found back in many mediums. First off, an entire new brochure line - consisting not only of individual hotel brochures but also of brochures focusing on leisure and corporate meetings. All brochures include state of the art photography which wouldnt look out of place in glossy lifestyle magazines. The new style can be found in new advertisements and various personal billboards. The new website depicts the style too and includes an improved booking engine and more corporate information. Signboards in and around all hotels are clearer and more basic. And last but most certainly not least, the new style can be found back in all possible hotel and restaurant items such as; the bathrobes, pens, envelopes, soaps, sugar bags etc, etc. In total, almost 2 million items were replaced! New image In 2006, 12 of the 18 Bilderberg hotels have been renovated. Not just a little touch-up but in some cases an extreme make-over. The remaining 6 hotels will be done in 2007. All the hotels have been given a more modern image whilst upholding the historical and distinctive and original features of each location. Thought has focused on what can be improved for both the individual and corporate guest, and how: additional modern technology, improved light, more work space etc. In short, how to indulge and meet the requests of the most demanding guests, both visiting Bilderberg for business and for leisure. New meeting product The new meeting product has been designed around 4 pillars; Location, Complete, Choice and Personal. Major cities, rural areas, the north, close to the border. Conference locations away from the highway and traffic jams or in the heart of the city. Castles, mansions, modern city hotels. Bilderberg hotels are without exception located in the most beautiful places of the Netherlands. No hotel is the same, all of them are of superior quality. Meeting rooms designed to the latest standards with comfortable chairs, good lightning and space. Use of paper, pens, whiteboard and markers is of course included in the rate. But also for the use of beamers and flip-overs nothing extra is charged. Cappuccino or espresso? Strong or less strong. Choice and diversity. At the coffeecorners where coffee is always fres as well as the extensive breakfast and lunch buffets where choosing is a feast. Dinner is more than just a bite to eat. From the moment of reservation until departure; service professionals will make sure that you and your guests can fully concentrate on the meeting. Visible, easy to contact and with an attention to detail. Not New Is there anything that hasnt changed at Bilderberg? Of course. The fantastic locations, sublime service and total dedication to Food Beverage remain unparalleled. Bilderberg is and always will be synonymous with top hotels and renowned restaurants which easily live up to their gourmet name. For a brochure or appointment please call + 31 317 362 266, or visit this new website. Or better yet, why not come and experience Bilderberg for yourself. we will gladly meet your every need.
