This is my first time back here in nine years. When I lived in Las Cruces, I stayed here a couple of times on short getaway trips. It was lovely then, and it is far and away even more lovely now. TorC, and better yet, Riverbend Hot Springs, is the place to get away and relax and rejuvenate. A lot of collective love has been put into this place. There are signs and clues of love, contemplation and joy everywhere I look. The tubs are terrific, the facility is clean, well kept, and peaceful. And, the river's beauty certainly tops it all off to create more delight. Thanks so much! Doug Sarah Mackey livestormse@yahoo.com 10/2007. From the moment we first arrived, we fell in love with this place. The location (mountain view and river) is perfect. But there's something else that makes this place different from anywhere else! The fact that it is affordable for most folks! It's rare to find a place like this that is still quaint and simple, but with such a homeplace feel to it. The way this place is now, it attracts all kinds of interesting folks from all backgrounds. Most people I've talked to agree that that is what makes Riverbend so special. The desert southwest style crazy deco in the courtyard is unique and we love it. More hammocks please:-)! We hope Riverbend always stays this way and we will continue to return here time after time and bring our family and friends. PS: The outdoor tubs are the best! This is why we've no interest in other tubs in TorC!! ~~. Terry Shirley Knouse tlk@epix.net 3/26/2007. We were totally surprised by the appearance of the Casita! The mattresses and beds were totally awesome. It was far beyond what we expected. Keep up the good work and definitely your resort will grow. Sometime, hopefully we will make it back. Terrific job on remodeling!!! ~~. Emma Adam Devsdale emmy_bear@hotmail.com 1/17/2007. A wonderful retreat, a welcome rest from the road. Blissful to sample the hot springs. Just keep doing what you already do so well. Thanks for having us ~~. Holt Pearce HoltWPearce@hotmail.com 4/20/2004. As a guest of Riverbend I haved enjoyed myself immensely while here. It is a very relaxing place. Great people, great vibes, just an all around positive experience. Many thank yous to the guests and the great folks who run this place. Its been my pleasure. I will definitely be back and will tell many about this place and bring some people with me to share in the Riverbend experience! ~~. Karan Shirk 3/20/2004. We planned to stay a night or two at Riverbend Hot Springs and ended up staying six. It is relaxing and beautiful and attracts the most amazing people. We can't wait to get back to T or C and Riverbend Hot Springs. Be sure and catch the museum in town. It is well done and very informative. The best small museum we found on our 12 weeks of travel.~~. Luke J Powell ljpowell@papafunk.com 1/22/2004. I had the honor of working at Riverbend in late '95 and just wanted to let everybody know that it is one of the most relaxing, fun and creative places on Earth. Do NOT miss the chance to stay for a few days.~~. Cathy cclanmother@aol.com 12/16/2003. All is cool here. Also a very spiritual place and beautiful people. I highly recommend this hostel. I have met my soul sister here. All my thanks to Creator for bringing me here.~~. I was driving Cross country when I got to Riverbend. Thinking I would only stay one night, I told the girl checking me in not to learn my name. She just looked at me. An hour later I found a friend I had lost in Texas a month before and two hours after that I was sitting in a hot tub by the Rio Grande and singing songs. I stayed for 5 days, but I'll never really leave.~~. Riverbend made our four days of vacation an everlasting memory. I've never been to a place that makes a person more welcome, and I will bring my family back to share with them the great time we had there.~~. Truth Or Consequences is a place unlike no other I have been to, and I can honestly say the same about this hostel. And that's good. Swimming down the Rio Grande and climbing straight into the hot baths was one of the best highlights of my 4 month USA excursion
