Our double rooms « Don » and « Casa Blanca » offer large and comfortable double beds, leaving ample space to put up one or two extra beds when needed. Both rooms got access to a big terrace with views to the sea and the surrounding hills. A perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine and a good book. The bathroom is situated in the tower. You will find us only ten minutes by car from the beach of Pedras d´el Rei and 4 miles from the picturesque town of Tavira. Santo Estevao (Saint Stephen), a typical Algarvian village is only about one mile or a fifteen minute walk along orchards of carobs, figs, oranges, almonds and olives. In the village you will find a small but very good restaurant, coffee shops, mini-markets, post-office, chemist and cash point. Enjoy your breakfast on the veranda with a splendid view over the Atlantic. At the Little Castle you can enjoy your holidays in a pastoral area away from mass-tourism in a true Portuguese atmosphere. There are excellent walking tracks where spectacular scenery and gently rolling hills offer you the chance to get to know the country and its people. This is how to find us: Coming from Faro airport follow the blue signs A22 / E 1 / IP1 to the motorway. Take the motorway in Eastern direction (Spain). Leave the motorway A22 / IP1 at the Tavira junction. At the roundabout turn first road right in direction of Sao Braz / Santo Estevao. After about 1 mile you will reach the small village of Prego; turn left in direction of Santo Estevao. Cross the village of Santo Estevao and turn right at the cemetery crossing, in direction of Estiramantens. After some 400 yards you will find the first;O Pequeno Castelo;; sign to your right.
