All prices are fully inclusive of service and VAT. 2008 Bookings Now Being Taken - Book Early to Avoid Disappointment Especially for Festival Weeks. Booking Conditions Cancellation Policy. A deposit equivalent to the first night's accommodation is required. This can be by cheque payable to Lav'rockha Guest House, or by Credit/Debit Card. If Cancellation is received at least one calendar month prior to booked arrival date, any deposit paid will be refunded. Note that under Scottish Law, reservations - even those by verbal agreement - are legally binding. Intending Guests are advised to take out Travel Insurance. For example, adverse weather, particularly outwith the Summer season, can seriously disrupt ferry and flight schedules. In the event of cancellation within one month of planned arrival date, or of guests failing to take up their accommodation (no-shows), we are entitled to recover the full value of the booked accommodation. We will, however, endeavour to re-let the room(s) and deduct any monies received in full from the balance due. Where Credit/Debit Card details have been provided for deposit purposes or in lieu of deposit, we reserve the right to charge the card for the un-used accommodation. Where there are exceptional circumstances we may, at our discretion, waive our right to compensation, limit payment to loss of deposit or provide a credit note against a future visit. If for any reason we are unable to provide the booked accommodation or part of it, we will endeavour to provide an alternative in STB 3 or 4 star rated accommodation. Where it proves impossible to find alternative accommodation of that standard, we will provide the next best available.
