Run by accommodating Scots, this 17th Century Inn was originally owned by monks as a place of lodging for travelling pilgrims. Now it is a haven for backpackers and world travellers, providing clean comfortable rooms, a large bar, sitting area with pool table, and a log fire in winter - which makes for a great social scene. Hearty English breakfast can be taken up to the roof terrace and enjoyed at leisure. We look forward to your visit, and with your own house keys you can come and go as you please.

THE HOSTAL / MARBELLA. The Hostal is centrally situated in the historical old town of Marbella, a 5-minute walk from the beach. Although Marbella originally attracted the rich and famous, it is easily visited on a budget and has many affordable places to eat and drink. We have a unique micro-climate which makes Marbella the warmest place in mainland Europe in the winter, enjoying at least 10 months sunshine. Christmas day can be as high as 25 c. Marbella is safe and clean and has a low crime rate.
Trains or buses to Malaga leave major cities in Spain... A bus from Malaga takes you to Marbella. Regular direct bus services to Marbella leave Malaga Airport. (45 Mins; 4.30 EU.).
