Weddings at Inn on the Blues! At Inn on the blues you can enjoy an affordable wedding or rehearsal dinner overlooking the ocean at York Beach (locals call it Short Sands) and a reception to remember at our wonderful restaurant, for 50 to 80 guests.You can be married in the beautiful Ellis-park Gazebo, stroll on the beach and then walk a few yards to Inn on the blues. Additional pictures of the INN after being prepared for an event. We can prepare a set or buffet meal to meet your needs and provide you with many services to make your wedding experience a great one: Gazebo - We can arrange for you to be married in the gazebo. Entertainment - Inn on the blues is famous for its wonderful line-up of bands. We can provide you with live music or a DJ to suite your style, or simply play the music of your choice on our professional sound system. Dance Floor - We have a stage and a dance floor. Outside Deck - Our deck over looks the ocean and accomodates 35 people who may be taking a break from the festivities. Projector and Screen - Some parties love to show family pictures during the wedding or rehearsal dinner, this professional grade equipment will bring your pictures to life. Rooms - The Inn has 7 spacious apartments that will sleep 30 plus people. They are efficiencies and each has its own kitchen and kitchenette. Rockhouse - For the truly romantic we have a wonderful house right on the edge of the rocks approximately three miles from the Inn that can be booked though the Inn - Visit www.mainerockhouse.com for pictures and more information. Trolleys - We have a partnership with the York Beach Trolley company and can provide you trolleys to transport your guests. We can prepare a set or buffet meal to meet your needs and provide you with many services to make your function a great one: Projector and Screen - We have a professional grade projector and screen to show your pictures, presentation or film that will bring your pictures to life. Rockhouse - We have a wonderful house right on the edge of the rocks approximately three miles from the Inn that has sleeps 10 and also has a large open area for meetings. It can be booked though the Inn - Visit www.mainerockhouse.com for pictures and more information. We have relationships with a number of other services in town, should you need them that can make your experience amemorable one. During the months of July and August we can accomodate only afternoon fuctions. you won't regret it.

Inn on the Blues is the picture perfect setting for your wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, holiday party, charity event or virtually any occassion. Our elegant decor boasts brilliant hard wood, contemporary art, and a stunning view of York Beach from our outdoor patio. Guests may step through onto the patio and enjoy cocktails overlooking York Beach oceanfront. For Holiday events, the hotel is always festively adorned with garlands and poinsettias. Inn on the Blues can accomodate up to 60 people for dinner and dancing. And of course, always the best blues bands in New England!
Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, cable TV and in most suites there are multiple rooms with futons in the living rooms for parties of four or more. There are decks overlooking the ocean with chairs to sit in the evening and enjoy the ocean breeze and to allow you to people watch in the center of York Beach. Heading North on I-95: After crossing into Maine, take exit #7 (Formally exit #4) (right before Maine Turnpike Toll Gate), stay to the right off exit ramp onto extensions road that takes you to Rt. 1. Take right onto Route 1 South. At next set of lights, go left onto Rt. 1A North (after Mikes Mobil). Follow route 1A all the way through York Village, down Long Sands Beach, Past Nubble Lighthouse Road, stay left coming down the hill, and you will be on Short Sands Beach. Big Parking Lot, Play ground and the ocean on the right, just down the road a piece and on the left hand side is the Inn. Heading South on I-95: Go through York Toll Gate, and immediately take Exit #7 (Formally exit #4) on the right. Bear Left onto Extension Road, that takes you to Rt. 1. Follow the directions above from there.
New years Eve Party (22 images) Thanks to our customers and the superb performance of the Bruce Marshall Band our first New Year's Eve party was a great sell-out success.
